I think the hitboxes are desynced, and set up the wrong way?

So I ran this test with a buddy of mine to see what changes there is to hitboxes since now I actually want to compare hitboxes with old Blizzard Hitboxes just to see what's the difference since nothing felt the same anymore. With this discovery I found out how they changed Snipers way of hitting targets, and how certain other guns are just weirdly not hitting the targets as usual now I am somewhat bad with my Inches, and Meter but to explain without you having to look at the video. The Hitboxes grow when your are further away from a target than it should be when are somewhat your closer. I found this video from a youtuber who was doing this before on Nov 4, and I said I didn't believe this was true. Until I tested it myself, and found out Bungie may of done this wrong with a source too with a possible chance to having a bad desynced with certain players, and matches. (Mind you in the video, and my test its all in a Private Match) So with my friend we tested this without the video (and sorry for the lag in it I am not a OBS type of person nor do I record all my PvP matches) But we ran test for meters first which went with 1m to 4m in the map Caldron. With us understanding that the range of the shot didn't matter but that's when we starting testing how much the shots count in certain distance away from the head, and the distance we were standing. Since PC version get Magnates Bullets they are suppose to help the player get their shots off which is as it suppose to do but the models/hitbox grow when you get further away in a bigger amount as usual. Once we got to 4m we seen that even shots that were away from 3in or more they counted as shoulder shots but found even 2.8in was still counting as headshots but also counting as shoulder which meant the shoulder, and head was fused together was whatever stance the player was in they were still hitting the shoulder or head. However this was different compare to 2m when 3 inches didn't count towards the should but 2.7in did, and 2.5in is still hitting the head. We did see this as an issue since now we understood how the snipers, and all other guns worked however we did test it when you are standing still, and the results are a bit.. strange I believe, and we believe its due to some desyncing from the player. So while strafing we say even in the same 2.5in from 2m we weren't getting hit regs but only 20% of the time. Meaning even in the same spot not moving the hitbox is moving with the player, and not staying with the player who is not moving. (Unless you move off to the side of their arm) Meaning even in all the same spots the hitbox stood the same and did the same damage in the same spot. So we went around in circles with us being the target to stand still, and notice 20% of the time with 2in to 2.5in our shots would miss but we are in the same 2m distance. We never understood why this happens but we also notice that the shot were in the same spot but were getting closer somehow as if we weren't in the same 2m distance anymore as if we were in around 1.5m away. The Video is pretty bad but I can't really understand it but we both agree this isn't how the hitboxes should be change, and agree that certain shots even if you do hit the head of your target but shows a damage number of 47 is due to desyncing. Still I need to know everyone's thought about this so please help.
