I made a poll,.. It's buried in the back of the forums because I didn't label it properly. So I'm trying another one. I'll delete the origional one.. It only has 24 responses..
I'd like to know what people would prefer as far as local location/ping vs worldwide connection settings for PVP. This would probably effect anythmg else that does matchmaking outside of pvp as well.
This poll option is here. Might as well use it.
Currently what we have now is fastest lobby time. With anyone in the world, just loading the lobbies as fast as they can from anywhere.
The second option would increase your lobby queque time but the games would be better ping wise.
The third option would give you the choice to pick what you want depending on your mood that day.
Also upvote and comment on this if you want more people to see it

5 RepliesYou're wrong tune a VPN to somewhere like hong Kong and you will have no matches. It is currently connection based matchmaking and doing a good job. The "lag" people see are bungies anomalies and their own connection.

9 RepliesEdited by mez-crippin: 4/6/2021 7:59:20 AMThe entire matchmaking needs reworked it hasn’t been fun for me in my personal experience since season of arrivals there’s literally ZERO reason I should mercy a team get “a we ran out of medals” “ghost in the night” and “undefeated” medal against a team and the next game get the exact same damn team and get another we ran out of medals. Literally look at my last game on my hunter on midtown and endless vale bungie can take their “CCBM” and well you know where I’m going with that because it’s not connection based there’s no damn way and the mercy rule is pointless if you’re just gonna match me up against the same team twice how is that fair to them exactly? And I’m just now seeing that match didn’t even track on bungie site 🤦🏽♂️fan -blam!-ing tastic no wonder my medal tracker is off.
