I'm so proud of you that you've been a fan since day 1 of CE, but Halo has always been designed for a variety of playstyles and a range of possible players.

should have been cheaper. It's the first DLC for Reach and Reach needed more BTB maps and unique scenery's anyway. I think it should have been half the price. P.S that hill in the middle of the Breakpoint, will probably become a major camping location. Its going to be a horrid map.

Hey bud, think about it; In Halo 3, the Mythic map packs were both 3 maps each. Heroic had 3, and Cold storage was just a single map download. Don't worry though. Knowing Bungie, they have way more maps in store for us in the future. :)

OT: will never buy these maps, firstly they look horrible, secondly they should have been shipped with the game as they so obviously were made pre-release, thirdly 800ms points for another forged map which will most likely suffer the same lag as all the others as bungie seems to think water is so necesary on every fkn map. Hopefully 343 studios or whatever other game developer will aproach the halo universe with a clear mind and not JUST be in it for the money. Fairly sure all these achievements are gna have to be done on the new maps and most playlists will probably require them even though each playlist will probably only use one map of the 3. Tempest would be good for invasion and maybe some 1-flag/assault variants but I hope to God they don't use it for anything else (I know they will though, lol) Breakpoint could be alright for BTB. Anchor 9 is one big gimmick. Sure it's nice to look at but you can tell there's no gameplay flow at all. Definitely not worth 10 bucks. If anything, these should of came with the original game. I think its a bit high priced considering the short time it took to release it, if you couldn't get it in the game cut us some slack and charge 400MS points. They do look a hundred times better than the forgeworld maps in the game now though. To all the idiots flaming people for comments like mine consider that for some of us its the princible of it. Owner of Legendary edition, Halo 3, 4 copies of limited Halo 2, 3 of Halo:CE, Bungie Pro, and games made by them long before Halo series.

"maps not too soon, price too steep yes" in my opinion they shouldnt charge anything for the maps. they are milking us. period, it doesn't matter even the price was a little better (10$ for 3 maps? the -blam!-?!, halo 2 all maps = 20$) they made more then enough money to support themselves and their families and multiple mansion homes for many generations to come. they dont need our money they WANT IT! Why are people complaining about the price? It is the same price that the map packs have always been. Also, why are people complaining about it being too soon? It is actually coming out later than the first Halo 3 map pack did.

The DLC lookes so epic I hope in the next they bring out more armour (mostley elite armour) but the new maps would be amazing on BTB.

Isn't it a little sad that even though the game just came out a month ago, two and a half months later they're already releasing DLC? Meh, I could actually care less, but I really needed a new Invasion map! I just don't like that the last map looks too much like the campaign level where you have to meet Hasely after fighting off over 5 waves of enemies.

This is the reason I went and bought a PS3 and let my 360 sit and collect dust 99% of the time. I only renewed my live sub for Reach and it's turning out to be the load of crap I'm used to. Halo Reach is not even out for two months and you guys already have a map pack ready to send? Why couldn't you send it with the game? Its a huge waste of money that we already spent buying your game. I have no doubt that millions of people will still buy it because they don't understand this point. Having this product release this early after the game comes out should be free.
