First off, I would never expect a merger of the two accounts, and am not asking for that. But a couple months prior to the launch of Forsaken I started playing on PC just to test the waters with every intention of continuing on PS4. But when it came time for the dawning, I couldn't cope with the frame loss and had motion sickness and headaches so I stuck with PC. No biggy. At this time there was no talk of transfer/cross save so I thought nothing of it. Fast forward to the announcement of cross save prior to ShadowKeep, and i'm left sad that I don't have continuation I had before. I couldn't/wouldn't grind what I had spent months grinding on PC in a few short weeks, especially when I needed to prep for ShadowKeep.
So with all that said, my main question is would it be too terribly hard to add collections/triumphs/flair that was unlocked on PS4, to be updated on PC. Just collections and triumphs, not vault or gear. Oh and veteran dialogue, i'm sick and tired of them explaining to me what the "taken" are being as how I took out their leader and all.

Unfortunately, no, you cannot get any data whatsoever shared between the two accounts that is platform account based. If you want that type of content on your PC characters, you'll need to play through the missions and the like, the same as you did on your PS4 characters, and if you want the same Collection items, you'll have to pick them up the good old fashioned way on your PC characters. Your PS4 data will not be shared with your PC characters; it's not a service Bungie offers. If you'd like to request such a feature, please head over to the Destiny 2 - Feedback forum and post your ideas on how to do so while combating the fraud that would come with it of people hijacking accounts and taking people's items and collections or of the ability to sell items to other people.

1 ReplyWhat you are essentially suggesting is account merging, which is not a service Bungie provides. This would be an enormous undertaking as each account would need to be manually merged (not everyone wants their accounts merged). I was in the same situation not so long ago. I played primarily on PS4 up until end of Season of the Drifter while occasionally keeping PC account up to date. Then switched to main PC account and keeping up PS4 every now and then. Once I learned of the cross-save, I decided to use my PS4 account as the main. The problem was that I had more seals, pinnacle weapons and triumphs on PC. It took me couple of months, but I did it. Last item was Redrix and I got it few days before Shadowkeep released. So, it's not going to be easy, but it can be done and that is the only way to keep such things as veteran status. Don't get me wrong, I left behind so many god rolls and emblems with high scores on my PC account that it'd be nice to have those back, but...

2 RepliesYou would need to cross save. Make PS4 your active account.
