Disk to Digital pre-Shadowkeep
I just pre-ordered Shadowkeep Digital Deluxe, and I got a prompt saying that I need to delete the disk version I currently play on before auto-downloading Shadowkeep on 9/29. My question is, if I delete the disk version, will the digital Shadowkeep version I purchased recognize that I own all previous DLC’s? Or will it make me purchase the D2 Complete Collection that includes Forsaken AGAIN? Thanks for any info.

2 RepliesYou would only be deleting the base game, as that is all that is installed from the disk. ShadowKeep includes D2: New Light, which is the digital version of the base game. Since you should have the digital version of CoO and Warmind already, they shouldn't be touched, but if they are missing, will also be installed as part of New Light. Forsaken was a separate expansion, so as long as you don't uninstall it, you will be fine. If you do uninstall it, you would have to re-install from your console marketplace.
