Am I the only one feeling being forced to play with exactly defined weapons, quests, missions, bounties, raids...? As I remember my good old MMO endgame days were about being able to be free of choice what you play, where you play, when you play, where you explore.. doing the stuff in the game that actually makes fun for yourself. And with that, still get rewards, just by playing.
I feel being forced to play the stuff I have to, not the stuff I want to. A certain amount of this is ok, but in destiny 2 there is waaaaaaay too much forced gameplay and you have to repeat it (in most cases) 3 times. Once you are done with that forced gameplay you are also done playing the game, every day.
Do you feel the same way?

Bungie went from a philosophy in Y3 of D1 where they rewarded the player for simply playing the game....and playing the parts fo the game they enjoyed..... ....to a philosophy in "Warmind" where loot and access to progression was used as a means to twist people's arms into playing the "entire" game....and punishing you (by withholding limited progression opportunities) if you failed to comply. This attitude needs to go away. Bungie needs to stop trying to micromanage the player, and control player choices. If they want the whole game played....then they need to make the game **enjoyable** and **rewarding**. Pressuring a player to interact with your game in ways that they dont' enjoy is a good way to create a RESENTFUL player. One who eventually burns out...and quits your game...
