A Wish (hopefully not the “last”) for My Sick Father
Hi all. I know this may seem ridiculous to some but my father has been in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks with Endocarditis. He just had a stroke which was surgically mitigated at John Hopkins hospital. Two years ago he had an aortic valve replacement, after and before which, he exercised diligently to maintain his health...
If I was to make my father into a guardian he would probably be the first the Traveler bestowed the light upon. In all of my 36 years this man has never disappointed me.... and you would be hard pressed to find another human being who had a bad thing to say about him.
My father has never let anyone down. I cannot think of a single time that he has not done what he said he would do. To be honest, after a stroke, he was more worried about my mom eating properly and me being able to get home before this “big” east coast storm to be with my two sons . He is a truly amazing human being who inspires honesty, kindness, and basic human decency. I’m sure he would give his “light” for everyone else before he asked for a single spark for himself.
I write this to ask all of you for a single “spark” of hope from whoever wishes to send it his way.
I have been so surprised at the wonderful friends I have made playing this amazing game and am grateful for all of your good will, positive vibes, prayers... whatever the hell you call it... please send it all his way. He is a true real life guardian. I owe him my everything.

I hope the very best for him. It’s not easy having a sick loved one, I know. My mother just past away at 61 on January the third. Started with her liver and everything went down hill from there.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people for no apparent good reason, and it hurts. Be strong for your father. Stay true to your faith. Knowing you are supportive, loving, caring and THERE means the world to him. Something you will learn to appreciate yourself in time... LOVE your dad.
