Its a linear fusion rifle that is not subject to the aim-assist and ammo nerfs that Sleeper got slapped with. It has a much shorter charge up time (about 50% shorter) than Sleeper which makes it easier to use against fast-moving targets than Sleeper. That shorter charge up time makes it much harder to counter on defense. Since its "flare" is much harder to see against background....and its charge up time is so short that you can be dead before you manage to locate the user if you peak from cover. Crooked Fang is almost as effective, and doesn't burn up an exotic slot.
