Yeah we need this badly! The Forsaken endgame armor is completely lacking! I mean we finally get an Ahamkara raid and the armor doesnt represent that at all.. Its a massive disappointment, & a complete missed opportunity.. We've been asking for exciting raid sets since the start of Destiny 2, & all they give us for our big end game armor grind is 2 reskins of some Y1 Destiny 2 Blue armor sets.. Plus its not like any of the new activities this week reward anything new.. Everything from the eggs, to the dungeon are just dropping the same Reverie Dawn armor.. I mean I really dont see the point to the grind to 600 if we have no armor to aim for and everything else is obtainable.. Its truly sad, especially when you compare Destiny 1 Raid sets to Destiny 2 Raid sets, or even Strike armor from Destiny 1.. Like that shit was more creative then 90% of anything created in Destiny 2.. & I mean this isnt even comapring Ornamented raid gear, which Destiny 2 has hands down the most lazy excuse for "ornamented" raid armor possible.. & if they dont bring Y1 armor up to Y2 standards then the community will move on faster than they did in D2 Y1.. We really have nothing to aim for.. & the loot is the main driving force for games such as this one..

I'd be happy if the just let us reroll the main stats on armor again (warlocks having no heavy sets in year 2 really sucks).

The most laughable part of all of this to me is the new collections tab. We can't reacquire randomly rolled gear. Year 1 gear doesn't matter now so there is no reason to reacquire that. And you can't even acquire Year 1 gear you missed out on in different seasons if you wanted to complete a certain collection. What the hell is it even there for?

This is probably the biggest reason I have not gotten Forsaken. What's stopping them from doing this again come year 3? I'm not putting any effort into a game that takes things away like this. After it happened in D1 and all the outrage that ensued I was almost positive something similar would not happen again, boy was I wrong.

Nah, your year 2 armors going to be obsolete anyways when year 3 rolls around, all you work for that set of perfect weapon drops, or that hard to acquire armor set you’ve grinded countless hours for, useless, you can look at it though! Enjoy :)

I'm sure that you can use old gear with current mods - year one armor just doesn't have access to random rolls and current armor perks Your old armor is stuck with mobility resilience and recovery

Best topic ever, not all that nonsense whining about removing MWcores. Pleasure to upvote, having the possibility to craft Yone gear using Forsaken system would be a nice add. Bungie of course will not do it hahahaha

They will do that in the next DLC so they have a reason to sell it to you.
