We need to voice this MASSIVELY, They need to fix this screw up BEFORE the event goes live!

Yeah....I think solo players should hold alllll the way off on getting forsaken. Don't get me wrong forsaken is looking kinda ok, but if I don't get any info on the progression system and solo content. I may have to skip this dlc and those after it. And it's kind of re[b]tard[/b]ed bungee can't understand that raiding *isn't for everyone*. Just like bungies overhyed EP, I think Gambit wont be and amazing as they say it will be. Feels like what they did for the other dlcs. They hype the shit out of one specific part of the dlc ( infinite Forest, EP, now Gambit) and that was all she wrote, that was the "best part". The other "much more 2 do" is everything but much more. Plus they haven't addressed any of the posts solo players wrote in the past few months, they keep making these events that are pushing players away and encouraging other players to be toxic, and there are more punk ass elite cancerous players than helpful players.That's should tell you something. I did EP with two different team the last few day and both were evil as hell. Theyd try to get a random to join and then kick them, or theyd ask someone in the chat to make them lead with the hopes of kicking them so that they could invite one of their friends. Look at the comments in ops thread, do you really want to spend an hour+ playing with those people?

It’s bs for solo players who don’t have time or desire to raid much less a sweaty hard mode . Bungie needs to stop taking a dump on solo players that’s why anthem will destroy this game you can play 100% solo all the time . No lfg or destiny tinder as I call it .

I wish the key people that got Bungie up to this point were still working there. This game would have been 10 times better off then it is now. Bungie dumb screwed up big time with D2 and still don't have a brain cell that works telling them, you know if we actually put the effort into making a game for the gamers as well as ourselves and not just for ourselves. Maybe they will start showing respect to us. Nah! screw that, we like the control we have over them. They believe this next DLC will fix the game Hahahahaha.

I’m fine with raiders being rewarded for their efforts with exclusive lewt. But ’til Bungo increases the raid participation number, let alone completion numbers among the community, they need to stop puttin’ bonuses that didn’t originate in the raids in raids!!! Not to mention that it was added to the prestige raid, which further shows how absolutely clueless Bungo remains. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Until Bungo creates a proper IN-GAME raid matchmaking and chat, and they see evidence that at least a reasonable amount of the community are at least raiding, then stop puttin’ non-raid lewt in raids!!!

If the raids didn’t require all 6 people to do their jobs flawlessly, I would raid more. But since if one player fails you all fail, it’s so shit doing it with randoms

Yup.. Would have been better to keep raids out of this event. Let everybody feel reward ed for what they did in the first year.. Not everyone is able to get good teams for raids. Let alone prestige raids.

AND its prestige? I hope that's a damn joke. I get raiding being for top tier shit, catalysts included. But a visual armor modification? From a limited event? And they want us to do prestige? If that doesn't change I damn near won't even log in to play Solstice of Heroes at all. I only wanted the armor in the first place. How do they expect a large majority of this game's population (AKA people who don't raid for [i]whatever[/i] reason) to switch it up like that? From no raids right to prestige ey? Fck. That.

So many people saying "just do the raid" are missing the point. Say you went through the raid. You collected all of the gear. And they added event ornaments for the raid. 4 of them were obtained by doing shit in the raid. But the chest ornament? Well no. You have to reach Legend Valor Status. Just get a group together, right? I mean, everyone can do that. It's not about time, or desire to play PvP. That's how the game works, so just suck it up and do it. No. Gear collections and the associated ornaments, masterworks, etc, should be activity specific. ALL of the pieces, all of the gear, all of the masterworks, catalysts. THAT is the reward for doing those activities. Instead, what they have done is pad out a lack of content by spreading generic gear out over the game. And let's be honest here. ALL masterworks should have been in the raid, or none. It's a cheap and bullshit way to manipulate players. Sadly a lot of people are too short sighted to see this.

What? You can't get end game loot without end game activities?! That's crazy! People need to stop complaining about loot being locked behind an activity they're too lazy to do. Seriously... Just raid. It's not hard.

I don't think the goal is to make people raid but to reward those who do raid. Good on Bungie

I can somewhat understand the prestige completion, but what I can’t understand is putting something PvP related right next to multiple other PvE completion requirements.

It's always a time issue for me. Like, my life doesn't allow me to say "I guarantee I can play for four hours on such and such evening, starting at such and such time." It just doesn't, and it's not going to. I get two, maybe three hours most nights, but I can't always tell you when those hours are going to be, or if it's two hours or three. And *every* LFG raiding experience I've had, including in D1, has been 45 mins of me sitting and waiting while the organizer finds a final person, or while somebody goes AFK because they ordered takeout immediately upon joining the group, or because somebody needs to "get something ready" and then we get about 45 mins to an hour of playtime before half the group says "oh, sorry, it's getting late, I have to go." Every. Single. Time. Combine that with my scheduling issues, and raiding is just a hard no for me.
