The FCC, Federal Communication Commission, is the United States Bureau that controls and regulates all public broadcasting, internet, and anything that connects the people. The FCC is trying to destroy net neutrality, where internet providers have to be fair and not filter what you see. Ex. 1: AT&T cannot block any Comcast related stuff. Ex. 2: The Internet providers can create obsurd bundles such as - $40 a month for the minimum bundle of email only -$60 a month for basic bundle for standard definition YouTube browsing with a 100Gb data cap -$80 a month for regular data with speed limitations and restrictions on video games -$150 for truely unlimited data with no filters. Imagine if the poorer people could not afford the 150 dollar bundle, how much would the player base drop? It would be a good and bad thing. 1 less people lagging, 2 longer wait times on this game. There will be less people playing online games because their internet providers won't allow them. This is an old topic yes, but the commission is planning to vote during Thanksgiving, right under our noses so nobody will notice. If you have any complaints you can go on their website or call 1-888-225-5322
I can't name shame or public put out private peoples information if it is a government and public knowledge
• The FCC will kill just about everything, unless you have a lot of that paper that we value a lot. Gaming would become a charm to afford just by itself.

      • I can really see both sides to this. People do want less government regulations which equates to more freedoms and supports our capitalist society. On this sense, the FCC is simply stepping back and giving us as a people more freedom. On the flip side, no regulations means open doorways for some pretty bad stuff. No one can state that this will happen, just that it can. ISP's can theoretically cripple free speech by limiting speeds to sites or services they don't like. They can also give preferential services and higher speeds than we currently have to higher paying customers while slightly slowing down connections for people who pay less. This can lead to financial discrimination and access. Again, not saying this will happen, just that it can. In reality, look at the internet you had in 2014. Now, if you had the same carrier and setup, look at your internet in 2015-now. If you didn't notice much difference, I doubt much will change for you. There are remarkably few cases of net neutrality working, but disparities do exist. Ie. I think one carrier slowed down netflix to make their streaming service more appealing, and they were fined under net neutrality.

        • So instead we want the government in charge of it? Yeah, no risk of problems there. /s
