Here let me explain why poll like this wont reflect real answer. Those who arent getting banned and think those who get banned deserved it due to some kind of cheat will vote 2. They wont listen while many of us on the banwagon here trying to explain. Forget those discord shit. Many people somehow happened to open a program that happen to be on Bungie's blacklist without even using those said program to destiny2 at all. Now at this point some might think we deserved the ban but no. We didnt intend to use those program for destiny2. There are more than one reason to use those tools. ip detection tools, speed boost tools, debug tools and whatever can be considered malicious by Bungie for many people is regular software to use elsewhere. How can Bungie assume that when we play Destiny2 we dont do anything else at the same time? This is PC not console. Many multiplayer games suffer from cheating as well. Even larger than Destiny2 like Dota, FFXIV, WOW whatever games you name it have some kind of procedure to ban cheaters. They issue warning both manually and automatically. In Dota2 you cant play if you have some suspicious software running. But you can resume the game after you recheck. You dont get ban straightway unless you frequently alert the system. FFXIV that I played also issue some kind of warning and manually check and ban players by GM investigating in-game. They go and see what happen. They dont rely on software detection without investigating how it affects the game or is it affecting the game or not. At Bungie you dont get warning. You dont know what happen and what program cause alert to their system. You dont know when it alert. You get straight ban without any information what you do wrong. For example, I have many program always open at my pc - proxifier? yes it can be it can detect ip for ddos ppl but it's proxy for my connection. for my ffxiv game. I live in Thailand and I need it. vuze? torrent? Inputmapper for my ps4 controller? advancedcombattracker ? for my FFXIV raiding? it has overlay and package detection thing needed for it to work Softethervpn? to hide my ip? I use it for my work Nicehash bitcoin mining? Bungie hates bitcoin? All of those can alert Bungie's detection software but for me none of them ever interfere with destiny at all. So why do I get banned ? Bungie?
