I've listened to nearly all the genres and I have to say, I only like one or two.

I'm John Williams.
Where does that put me?
I listen to music almost all day, everyday; strictly metal and most of its sub genres.
-
I'm a musician, and listen to a wide variety of music from punk rock to jazz to opera - but still no country.
-

-
I can use software and some hardware to produce a track.

I have strange taste. I go from lofi hip hop, to cerebral hip hop, to modern-classical music, to video game music, to EDM, to alt rock, to jazz, to electronica/trip pop. Pretty much everything but country.

I chose the one before musician but I do have a caveat. I am not “musical”. My own personal rhythm is entirely off and I’ve been filmed singing happy birthday wrong by my wife to convince me that I should just mouth the words. But I LOVE music. From the Beatles to Beethoven, from Mozart to Marilyn Manson, I love music. I have eclectic collections for different moods such as my Shelley Morningsong(look her up) meditative Original American music, to my NWA/Rage Against the Machine Road Rage play list, to my oldies but goodies Hall & Oates(Oh damn he’s old) playlist, I love all kinds of music.

Only listen to nonsense music videos just to make me laugh, other than that I don’t really care to listen

Edited by Fushigi Ball User: 10/21/2017 3:46:23 PMI love any guitar instrumentals from rock, metal, jazz, blues, and jazz fusion. I am very much into the outside sound of Holdsworth.

I will listen to any genre n with meaningful, passionate lyrics and a nice riff/beat or is well composed. Country, techno, classical, or that newer folk music

5, verging on 6. I’d like to think I know quite a lot about the genres that I’m into, and enough about other genres and how they link with each other. I listen to lots of music. I don’t think I’ve quite gotten to 10,000 songs on my iTunes library, but it’s a close number. I consciously try to find music I like in genres I don’t. I haven’t got a clue about music theory though, nor can I identify notes.

I play literally any percussion instrument ever. Drum set, snare drum, concert bass, triangle, timpani, marimba, xylophone, you name it
-
Guitar, bass, keyboards, bit of drums, a smattering of violin and spent many an hour fooling around on Sequencers and VSTs. Studied music and as such can listen objectively. Also got very sensitive to the undertones of Antares Autotune.
-
Guitar, bass and piano.
-
I'm not sure which option I would choose. I listen to a wide variety of genres and enjoy dissecting music during consumption.
-
I'm quite proficient in mayonnaise.
-
I only really listen to rock.
-
I play the trumpet
-
I listen to many different genres, and I can identify what makes music good. But I don't know any notes. I don't know how to describe it, but the sound registers with me and I could probably make a song, but I wouldn't know the notes to it.
-
I listen to a small range of metal (from metalcore to post/hardcore), and I also play guitar (at a level that almost approaches mediocrity).
-
So much
-
I play guitar.
-
Not any of that
