What's this?!? Another how to fix destiny post?!? Oh joy! Yeah, my own thoughts when deciding to write this. Seriously though, the community is disappointed in this game for very simple reasons and they can be so easily fixed. It stems off of one word; oversimplification. Finding that balance between too simple and too difficult is hard to find, and destiny 1 had it almost right and then for whatever reason the idea to dumb things down was made. Great idea #1: Subclasses. Destiny 1 had a great subclass choice. You could play several different ways inside of one subclass because of the different choices inside that subclass. Now as we all know, it is one of two ways and that is it. Simple answer to this problem, open up the choices to pick four of the eight available perks. Make it fun to experiment with different builds once more. Great Idea #2: Tokens. Keep the tokens, do away with the random engram. Nobody loves getting the same gear a million times over. Tokens were such a great idea...but then RNGesus taketh away the great idea. Keep the tokens! Make highly coveted gear more expensive giving players a grind once more. Just take his holy randomness out of it please. Great Idea #3: Power comparable gear drops. Nothing is more annoying than being 305 and getting 296 gear...great more glimmer, weapon parts or shards...yay...Please give us power comparable to that character's power level. Great Idea #4: Weapon and Armor Mods. Simply said, allow for more mod slots, three to five would be awesome. Make more types of mods to allow for different style of play. Want an explosive round old fashioned? How about a hunter who has maxed out resillience, recovery, kinetic weapon balancing, more reserve ammo for power weapons and faster grenade and class perk regeneration? Sounds like my hunter just became my main character! Great Idea #5: Bring back the ability to tell if my guardian is a male or female. Haha okay okay, just my personal annoyance here is all. My female guardian just looks awkward having the same sit/relax animation as my friend's male guardian and vice versa. Great Idea #6: Those fancy auras would be awesome if they lasted throughout however long the season is. Great Idea #7: Strike/Nightfall specific loot. Come on, does anyone really need to elaborate on this? Since the number seven is the holy number of existence, I'll end it there for now, until part two...thanks for reading bungie!
