Nightstalker invisibility ruins PvP balance. It should not take the aim assist away, period. Nightstalker dodge is essentially an insta-win-button in 1v1 situations. Here's what I propose:
- Nerf invisibility back to the way it was in D1
- Buff Shadowshot to trigger quicker and to deal around 210 damage (OHK to guardian without barriers or supers)
This way Nightstalker would be more fun to play as and to play against.
Ps. Since someone probably would ask about it: yes, I can play. My overall KD is 3,1 at the moment.
Edit 1: Woah, it seems people commenting have no clue how to play the game. First of all Hunters are probably the best class for PvP if the player is highly skilled because of the mobility. Dodge is just as powerful as rift or barrier. It really helps to make big plays. Hunter is also the best class to pick power ammo on since it is so easy to stay alive as one. But I guess the game must be balanced for the majority of players (casuals) and it seems the casuals have stated their opinion: they are so bad, they don't even notice the power of Hunters. I am a bit surprised though.

I have a better idea, instead of allowing AA on invis hunters, just remove all AA from the game. Invis hunters are no longer special, problem solved

But Titans can drop shields to protect themselves as they grab the Power Ammo, and Warlocks can heal themselves in seconds, so they are arguably better for grabbing power ammo. Sure a dodge is useful for sticky situations, but it's not a guaranteed thing. Way of the Wind is the surest way of surviving, but that's only on Arcstrider. Anyways, the trick for invisibility is not to get baited. If you're fighting a Nightstalker and they run around a corner, they are likely setting a trap smoke or preparing to bamboozle you. If you're not prepared to get bamboozled, then don't chase. You seem to run mostly long-range weapons, so you totally have the option of staying back. Beyond that, you run Last Hope, so I don't understand what you're complaining about. Regardless of what happens, you'll be fine. Invisibility only applies until the first shot, then there is zero advantage. It's good for outmaneouvering until then, but beyond that there shouldn't be any problem. P.S. Most Hunters go high while invisible. Watch the skies.

People disagree with your opinion, so it must be the result of sucky casuals. LOL!
-
LOL Invis was stronger in d2 kiddo

Edited by TurboTilly: 10/19/2017 9:48:33 PMBut titans get a shield and warlocks get a health regen rift with their already 10 recovery.. gtfo.. learn to aim

Again someone trying to break the only unique thing about hunters. Pvp is a f**king mess, and you want to make it worse for hunters. How is a Hunter going invisible any different to a titan putting up a big wall, or a warlock going behind cover and popping healing rift. People like you aren't ever happy if there is something in the game that outplayed you.

Edited by ShrewdShogun: 10/19/2017 2:48:39 AMNightstalkers didn't have invisibility in D1. Blade Dancer did. Don't even get me started with how much Bungie f*cked over Blade Dancers... As for Arc Strider....thanks for the lack of mobility. Yes I know that you're supposed to spam dodge and that there is a bit of range with the right trigger attack but it is SLOW as F*CK. Titans move faster than Hunters? FFS it makes no sense. But as always with this game. Learn and adapt.

If anything Hunters need a buff. Titan main.
-
Are... are you the same kid that was complaining about this like 2 days ago? Dude, I am concerned that you need an eye exam if you can't actually see the invisible hunter, they're no harder to spot than invisible vandals. The aim assist is so underwhelmingly meh on most guns, what weapon are you using that is SO sticky that you want to nerf an already weak class ability to keep it sticky? Or... are you perhaps cheating with an aimbot that can't make the visual distinction?
-
nah. dodge in general needs a buff and invis should honestly last longer. oh and I saw your comment about hunters being the best class for pvp. warlocks actually are the best. hunters were a lot better in D1 but warlocks were still the best class.
-
Yea lets nerf the probably weakest class nice one
Invisibility is beyond broken
If you've ever played against a good hunter, you would agree that the evade + invis + hunter jump is very strong and difficult to counter. Invis should break on damage, I've shot invis hunters several times and they are still cloaked. The invis in d2 is much better than in d1, it is much more difficult to see in d2.
-
I can see D3 now.. No abilities, no space magic or armor, just 1 pulse rifle with extended mag as it's only perk. Then extended mag will be nerfed.
-
Invis is perfectly fine, it's extremely visible and the only huge advantages are that you don't get aim assist on you and and no radar. You might as well not even appear translucent. You have summoned me.
-
id be ok if u take away invis 4 increased dmg the more i hit you. hunter are underpowered, play the hunter b4 you post. its very hard 2 keep a high kd\kda
-
Adjust....stop crying....

So you want to remove the one advantage that Hunters have? Seriously? It only lasts a few seconds and the second they fire they're visible again. What is so broken? Exactly why can't you counter them?
