Bungie, I personally love playing arcstrider as a class and I really like the idea of the super. But there's a bit of a problem. It's very easy to shut down. It moves so slow for a super, especially one that's supposed to be fast and uses acrobatic movement. It just doesn't move fast enough as a super, and seems slower than a striker titan with fists of havoc active. The class itself seems to be in a good place, but the super doesn't. I just feel that it doesn't do it's job properly as a mobile, acrobatic melee super in the crucible. It would be greatly appreciated if you consider this(if you even see this) when approaching the next sandbox update or whatever. I would personally like to see a buff for this supers mobility and hit registration also. There are many times I have to hit a target three or sometimes even four times. It just doesn't feel as strong as it did in the beta and I feel that the second airborne light attack should be returned back to the super. Thank you for reading this and I hope you consider these changes.

I don't like the delay from cast to ability. For a brief moment after you activate arc staff you are motionless. Sitting duck. You cast around a corner good players hear and take off....

It’s confirmed arcstrider does actually move slower than a striker titan. How is that not just retarded? Cue the butthurt titans “MUH HUNTER DODGE THO!” The dodge actually makes the arcstrider slower too

This comparison again. I don't understand the salt that has been generated among Hunters because Strikers can sprint faster. That's not even the issue with Arcstriders getting shut down. The real issue is that players aren't evading. They are trying to charge straight ahead like a Striker and melee someone shooting at them. You're supposed to evade then attack. They can make Arcstriders as fast as Strikers but it's not going to change the simple fact that you're going to get shut down if you don't learn how to evade with Dodge and Lightning Reflexes. Without any healing mechanism (e.g., Hungering Blade) Dodging becomes even more important. An issue that I think needs improvement is auto tracking jumping targets. They get away far too easily just from jumping.

It is slower than a striker which is incredibly stupid

Were they secretly buffed? I swear I saw my Arcstrider to the helicopter move a few times and also feel more mobile during the super.

How about buff all the supers that need it #makesupersgreatagain

Yes, it has been confirmed that Titans while using Fist of Havoc do indeed move significantly faster than an Arcstrider. Video Courtesy of Fallout Plays.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vgfMgnm53I
But what about using endless dodge to move faster! You're playing the class wrong, git gud! Fallout Plays has a video for folks like you too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vgfMgnm53I
I'm not sure what can be done, but with the lack of blink and always being pinged on radar, I'd love to see something done to help us close the gap a little. HOWEVER, to counter the arguments for more speed, I can't help but wonder if we're using this sub class wrong. Veterans of D1 may be trying to treat the sub class like Arc Blade, which arguably had significantly more mobility. I can't help but feel that Arc Strider, which seems to last significantly longer than Arc Blade from D1, even without Raiden Flux, that we should be using this super from the flanks and treat it as an ambush class (minus the stealth)

Yeah it's pretty sad that I can just jump and boost backwards as a titan faster than they can run at me. Then there are those arcstriders that learn the aerial movements/attacks. Can't really escape them very easily.

Edited by TKE-Aquila: 10/19/2017 6:42:01 PMI have to agree. You would think a Hunter who was basically channeling lightning through his/her body would move faster than his/her normal running speed.
