Error code: Weasel... Inescapable
I am so frustrated. I have done everything possible to try and fix this error code yet the problem still persists. I have switched from wireless to wired and back to wireless, Cleared the cache on my Xbox one, bought a new router and I Still get this error code. I don't know what to do, no forum or post has helped. I've even left my clan for being in a bugged clan may be the cause but to no avail. I play on Xbox one, I get the error code every 3 or so hours and this is the only game I have connection issues with. ANY help is appreciated.

2 RepliesHello, I've had the same issue as you do right now. How i fixed the weasel error code was by changing my DNS on my xbox. Under settings --> all settings --> network --> network settings --> advanced settings. From there you can change your DNS to (for example) one from google. Google's public DNS is: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. When you entered these DNS settings, you will need to restart your console. This simple but small change helped me a lot. It reduced less to none error codes as well as improving overall online gameplay for me. I tried using my normal/standard DNS settings, they work fine too, but i prefer google's public DNS over my own. I hope this will solve your issue!
