Why is it that we are forced to wear a certain set of armor to be competitive? There is absolutely no reason why an entire set of good looking armor should not be wearable because of it's stats. For example; I'd love to wear the raid set for my Titan but lets be real, why the hell would I want a full mobility set when this game relies on having a ton of recovery followed by resilience? You make great looking sets obsolete based on the fact that everyone is chasing recovery sets and to be honest, they aren't wrong for doing so. So far, recovery is by far the best armor statistic available and if I can't get a decent amount of it, I'm not wearing it. Even if you don't think it's that important, should we be forced to ignore an entire set based on its stats? I mean I based my faction allegiance on which set provided which stat. Look at all the hunters starving to reach 5-6 recovery because the vast majority of their gear is based around mobility.
There is no advantage to having random armor set rolls. All you gain is the ability to wear a cool piece of gear based on which stat you find gives the most benefits. Randomly letting armor drops roll a different set of stats gives players a chance to grind their favorite activity for the look they want and the stats they desire. Let's get this post going so we can all rock the best looking gear without worrying about coming up short on recovery or resilience (or mobility if you like it haha).

I have a question tho. Why are all armor and weapons in D2 have the same stats. Was that intented? Cuz it is quite a step back from Unique armor and weapons rolls in Destiny 1. I have a question tho. Why are there only 4v4 multiplayer modes. Cuz that is quite a huge step back from D1. Another question. Why do hand cannons suck so bad in D2. They are hardly usable. Another question. Why is the raid in D2 so boring. Wasn't the raid the most fun activity in Destiny 1? Yep it was. Wait but the story is good in D2. Well I am having hard time even playing it on my second playthrough. I don't remember it being such a chore in D1. That's weird but D2 story is supposed to be better. Interesting points.
