Edit: Non PS+ Player
Got my first Three of Coins drop 2 weeks ago and it decrypted to the same boots i had equipped.
Got 2 exotic engrams in a row using Three of Coins, yesterday. I play on and off around 3 hours a day and got the drops on a Mission Playlist (Kill Oryx - The Taken King). You get three named bosses for the chance of 3 potential engrams. I got 1 engram from the first boss. I hid and popped another Three of Coins and killed the other and it dropped another (!) The odds of that are miniscule but it happened.I couldn't kill Oryx so left I the mission.
Went to decrypt and it gave me the same weapon i had equipped (Telesto)
Decrypted the second and got something i didn't have hallelujah
Played the second Story playlist and got another engram (!?) which decrypted to armor i already had.
Given how few exotic items i own (8 weapons now), the odds of RN jesus dropping the same stuff, practically 3 times in a row, seem miraculous. But apparently the odds of that happening if i pay Tess cold hard cash are minimal to none? Are the programmers that work on the 'free' side of Destiny just bad at their job?
If Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer Games got together and produced something that respected it's passionate consumer, Destiny would be left eating it's dust. Bungie seem utterly disrespectful. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the production team but the financial side is seemingly run by the mafia. My nephews cant play Destiny's DLC on their own Playstation accounts on the same PS4. They gotta buy their own copy. Unprecedented
