Weapons that consistently beat mida/uriels
Can some of you point out some weapons that beat them, at this point I'm starting to think high Cal is a must in most situations. What are your thoughts and opinions.

3 RepliesUse the weapons that works for you, use them at the ranges they are most effective at, be the one who gets the first shots, make your shots, and hope that you are better than the person you are fighting. Oh and teamshooting, definitely teamshooting.

2 RepliesANYTHING can beat them. If you think otherwise then you are not paying attention and only listing to the crap you hear online. Seriously..put down the twitch channels, stop with youtube, dont listen to some streamer. Go play a match and figure out what works for you. Maybe you need more mobility so you can counter quicker or maybe you need that counter balance mod. Just STOP crying for nerfs on an already nerfed game.

Mida is an Exotic scout rifle. In my opinion Exotics should be the best weapons for the job at their intended ranges. They should outshine legendary weapons at what they do best. If anything, other exotic weapons need a buff so they are more viable for the crucible -weapons such as the hardlight, and the drang. We need more really good exotic weapons in general. If the devs brought back the last word or hawkmoon, or the suros people would totally forget about the mida being able to dominate at it's intended ranges. They would just close the gap and force closer range gunfightslike they used to in Destiny 1.

Edited by Jblackadawg: 10/15/2017 5:52:38 AMMy friend manystylez uses Origin story with Last Hope and a Sniper. I checked his stats on the destiny tracker and he's top 500 in the world on countdown. He never uses Mida Multitool. The only real imbalance in this game is that there are people playing this game that are so good that if you gave them a rubber chicken they'll still out play 90% of the other players who try to rely on Mida. Teamwork and coordination are what really win matches. - Flinch in general across all guns could be toned down abit.

1 ReplyIf the devs brought out weapons that were easy to get and could consistently kill anything then the game would be unbalanced and people would just use those guns instead of Mida and Urials.

If you stand back and try to beat MIDA at scout rifle range with anything other than another scout rifle, you're going to get wrecked. Period. But Pleiades Corrector (FWC) and Nameless Midnight (Vanguard) can beat MIDA if you land your shots. Other weapons can also beat these weapons if you get INSIDE their range...and work from your weapon's optimal range. Vigilance Wing, Scathelock, The Number (FWC), Jiangshi-4, Antiope-D, Last Hope, The Forward Path, The Time Worn Spire. Origin Story.... just off the top of my head. This is the most balanced I've ever seen PVP in this game.

Midrange with recoilmods Martyrs make feels amazing. Just have to engage at the right range

1 Replyantiope time worn spire last dance any other auto rifle within range basically everything has a better ttk than mida you just have to get into an effective range for said weapon. don't try to beat mida with scouts push in with smgs or sidearms and get close

6 RepliesScathlock is a power house. Nameless Midnight is really strong and flexible. Antiop-D is....damn near unbeatable close range. Vigilance Wing is [i]really[/i] strong. Better Devils is a beast. Those are just some off the top of my head, but the weapon doesn't win firefights on its own.

The Number is good counter....but the one weapon which if used in the right scenario that destroys is Skyburners Oath...3 hit kill or less with a headshot...

2 RepliesIf used correctly, Tractor Cannon. Pair it with Knucklehead Radar, crouch behind a wall, wait for enemies to walk in and send them flying. Doesnt matter WHAT gun they use, no countering a good TC shot.

1 ReplyNope. You're right. High-cal is a must in most situations. The only way to consistently stop a team of veteran players who are organized and teamshotting with MIDA's and Uriel's is to teamshot them back with the same guns.

4 RepliesFor Mida, fight them close range. For uriels fight them long range. If they're using both, use a submachine gun like antiope d and a sidearm like last hope. Also being a hunter helps.
