Everyone is saying D2 sucks and that it's bland and boring. And I agree, at the moment, it is very dry. But I believe this game has the potential to be a more than worthy sequel to the franchise we all fell in love with. I've compiled a list of some ideas that I found to be widely supported by the community, as well as some personal ideas. Please upvote if you agree or comment if you disagree. Either way, upvote so Bungie can see this and all the comments.
1) A new Random Rolls System
-Bungie knows fixed rolls are a problem. But they also know that just adding completely random rolls isn't the solution either. So I propose that each weapon can have specific perks that can roll on it. Like a weapon could have a pool of ten possible perks. This way, guns with better base stats slightly worse perk options, and guns with worse base stats have a better perk pool. This way, every gun has a reason to be used. ---THIS WOULD ACTUALLY WORK PLEASE SOMEONE SEE THIS---
2) In addition to tokens, add the possibility of end-game drops in Iron Banner like D1. The token system is really cool and creative, but it just gets so stale. Add that excitement we felt in D1 back into D2.
----side note, pls no reskins. The art style of Destiny is one of the franchise's greatest triumphs. Let's take advantage of that.
3) Bring Back cool intrinsic perks on raid weapons and trials weapons like cocoon.
Solving the issues of the endgame should be the number one priority. The stale loot system is urgent, and my first point about weapon rolls could be an interesting and reliable long term fix. Please consider it if you're seeing this Bungie.

There is a new post every day of people giving the same ideas over and over as of they are new. We all know that we want these things, I'm sure Bungie knows. The title definitely made me lol though, as if this was new urgent information Bungie desperately needs to see.

It’s the core gameplay that is boring, and your suggestions do little to affect that, although number three would help a little. They need to restore the space magic back to destiny by improving our abilities, movement and weapons. In addition, new activities must be added to provide variety, both in PVE and PVP. A good start might be the removal of the timer from the regular nightfall, and adding choice to the playlists in crucible.

Edited by Atreuss: 10/13/2017 1:43:54 PMMy personal opinion is that bungie should have just made this a huge dlc to D1. Upgrade whatever they needed to with hardware and software. Kept leveling, weapons, gear, pvp etc., the way it was. Just added the new campaign and raid, maps and once you played through it, you end up in the new tower with all the new worlds and characters added to make a much bigger game. The player base would be huge. We would still have our grimoire, achievement books, Ghosts and siva clusters, bounties, POE, Archon forge etc. It's just a thought, but I think it might have had more success at this point. Kind if miss the old days, but will see what fixes they have in store and what the dlc's hold for us.

I totally agree with 2 and 3, nothing is more annoying than not feeling as if the more you raid the better items you get to beat that raid or enemy type. But just so you know number one was how weapons were in D1. If you went to the armory on the bungie page it would show how many perks and which ones were in each perk slot.
