Sounds good! - Said the people at the marketing. - Do guided games, that would do some extra good with people, who usually cannot play the same time as their friends. It is a good selling point to the never ending argument that Nightfalls and Raids doesn't have any matchmaking. This would be a good oppurtunity to show that Bungie is listening. Unfortunately that is not the case. As I am writing this I am still waiting for any guide team to show up for Nightfall. More, than half an hour. Not so exciting. I have to search for something else to do instead of playing the game. Let's play "who wants to see the loading (searching) screen for an hour". This brings me back some nostalgic memories. And in nostalgic I mean just like Commodore 64 times. This game is several years step back in more, than one way, including the customization options.. But that is not what this topic is about, that's for another time. This kind of waiting time is absolutely intolerable. Wake up Bungie: Nobody wants to see the loading (searching) screen for half an hour, no sorry, maybe MORE than an hour. Your gamers want to play. But there is a solution: Bring matchmaking to Nightfall. No, nightfall is not so complex to not have this option. It's only a tiny bit more harder, than a simple strike, but not so much as it would suffer the gaming experience with random people. You know what suffers the experience most? Ridiculous waiting times! And I won't touch the Raid in my subject for a reason: it has the most inhuman waiting time of all. And I don't think that, in this case, Raid has to be matchmaked.. It shouldn't. Guided games for Raid is a good idea. But unfortunately just in theory... Because everybody has better things to do with their free time besides that waiting for your wonder to happen. Fix it.
