Why does this keep happening?[/quote] I have this same issue and have sent an email to Bungie. Unfortunately I have not gotten a response yet. I have seen someone say that you can create a new character if you can make it to the character selection screen. I am reluctant to do this because of the many memories I have with my characters from the first game. Also, due to the amount of loot and rank procured in this game. However, if there is nothing else to do I suppose I will have to take that option.
