Is it just me or has exotic armors become awful. Almost all of the boot exotics have awful or negligible perks, gauntlet pieces are only good when they are the ones that modify supers, and so many pieces provide a terribly weak bonus. I realize that any bonus is a good bonus but these are just abysmal. I want game changing armor pieces that provide a stronger benefit than "running faster" (by only frames of a speed difference of course. Anyone else feel this way about these armors that we have?

syntchopes or what ever titan arm exotics they were, i find them quite ok , in pvp that long melee range is so megusta
-
I‘m waiting for an exotic with the „shank burn“ perk.
-
It's because they are. Don't you remember then saying they wanted exotics to not be something you depended on, just for them to be supportive towards the end of D1.
-
I disagree. All of the classes have good exotics for PvE, and useful stuff for PvP as well. Sure, some of the exotics aren't awesome, and some could use a buff, but overall, I think people just complain too much.

Mechaneer's Tricksleeves... Exotics cause... Common Legendary perk from D1 that people never used apparently deserves to be made into a D2 exotic. There's Handcannon pants like this... Submachine gun pants. Foetracer is a bid deceptive... Let's you do 23 damage instead of 22 damage when enemy is 18 health left... Yeah.. guess it DOES increase damage... Pointlessly.
-
I hate the exotics that increase specific weapon reload speed and readiness. Like one pair of exotic hunter boots does that for hand cannons and its so dumb. Why would I waste my exotic slot on that?

Edited by Swarlly: 10/4/2017 1:52:35 AMAll warlock exotics are unimaginative garbage. We'll slap a tiny bit faster recharge rate on it and call it a day. Lunafaction Boots for pve may be the only exception.

Such a let down

Edited by ManBlaster: 10/5/2017 12:05:06 PM...The one pair of warlock boots that reload your weapon upon entering a warlock rift make it possible to step in and out without ever having to reload your gun... making the Coldheart fire endlessly and can out DPS everything if you can keep it on an enemy. This 1 set of boots seems like an overpowered hidden gem to combo certain scenerios with.
http://db.destinytracker.com/d2/en/items/2954558332-lunafaction-boots
Raiden Flux can almost triple the duration and damage of Arc Staff, tf are you talking about?

Edited by blade329: 10/6/2017 8:32:37 PMWorking as designed, which is to maintain "balance" for the lackluster boring snoozefest known as the Crucible.

Yes, I want to fear a exotic like how I fear a titan wearing peregrine graves
-
bananna peels and empty cans feel like garbage
-
Idk know man,
-
There are a handful I feel very underwhelmed with, mostly ac/d0 feedback fences. They feel more like an alarm that something is punching you...
-
I'm going to take a guess that you don't have Synthoceps, the exotic Titan gauntlets? The best exotic gauntlets imo. Especially when using the bottom Striker tree.
-
Hallowfire Heart in last week's Nightfall was an absolute monster
-
Skullfort and code of the earth shaker is a wonderful combo. Try it.
-
Blame it on PVP. PVP gears should be separate from PVE.
-
Exotic engrams = yellow snowballs

I'm loving experimenting at the moment. I'm playing with the warlock at the moment and for all the "space magic" I hear we're lacking I'm finding with a couple well placed mods and the right exotic, I'm filling up all abilities super quick. And for those that were missing the obsidian mind from D1, the new skull of dire ahamkara Also refills your super on super kills. Mostly loving the new exotics at the moment. Kinda want to bring my hunter and titan forward just to see what they have going on too.
-
I can agree with this. I personally find it a bit odd how a perk for a lot of guns from destiny 1 are considered exotics for d2 like the case with Lucky Pants and the other one for sidearms.
-
I totally agree with OP. The exotics in this game are absolute trash. No thought went into them what so ever. I'm happy I didn't spend a dime on this game. I've played for two weeks have almost all the exotics for all three character plus most of the weapons or have at least tried them and all of them are extemely underwhelming
-
Both of the Rigs (Orpheus and Actium War) are pretty good, Stomp-EE5 are fun, Celestial is still good, Mask of the Quiet One is good on occasion, Lucky Pants and those SMG Titan boots are also fun. My point is, there are a lot of exotics out there that aren't necessarily godlike, or even practical, but are really fun to use. Try using two hand cannons with Lucky Pants or two SMGs with those Titan boots. Try using the "higher jump" perk on the Hunter while wearing Stomp-EE5. Sweet Business with the War Rig. It's things like these that make exotics exotic.
-
Skullfort is the best titan exotic in the game! War Rig is a good second. Hunters got Orpheus Rig and Lucky Raspberries. Celestial Nighthawk was good with the Shadow Inverse perk in D1 otherwise it's the only best exotic for gunslinger. Warlocks got a shit load of good exotics compared to Hunters and Titans.
