Mida Multi-Tool

So, I'm going to start off with the fact that I'm a day 1, D1, beta tester. I say this, not to brag, but to point how long I've utilized the Mida Multi-Tool. That being said... For the first time, I'm seeing legitimate, hardcore requests for the MMT to be nerfed, some even suggesting it be removed from the game. My question is this; Why? The Mida NEVER truly changed over the course of D1. It got buffs and took hits when blanket scout rifle changes came down the pipeline, but the Mida specifically never took any big hits or received any big buffs. I've played Cry-cible, Trials of the Tryhards. So yes, I'm fully aware that it is the "meta" , at the moment. But you people (yes you read that right, I said you people) are calling for changes to a weapon, possibly the only weapon in all of D1, that was ever truly balanced. That even diehard, tryhard self-appointed "Cry-cible gurus" didn't even dare touch in their boohoo videos of the week giving a list of nerfs that "just had to happen to make pvp bearable". Know why? Because it was balanced. Now, before people start shouting " Well that was D1, this is D2", take a good hard look at the Mida. It's the Same. Damn. Gun. It was, all the way through D1. My closing statement will ruffle some feathers, but whatever. This isn't about bashing Destiny, or Bungle, or Activision (which I confess I've done in the past). But the simple fact of the matter is, is that Destiny's weapons have been so utterly and totally destroyed in D2 that, quite all the sudden, the Mida is standing out for more than its speed boost. It's not that the Mida is overpowered. It's not that they changed it and made it into a god-weapon. They've destroyed viable alternatives, so people are turning to what's left. Conclusion (subject to opinion, obviously): Mida doesn't need a nerf, and sure as hell doesn't need to be removed. Near everything else needs to be buffed. Duces.
