Back in D1 some of the rewards would closely represent the enemy defeated, you would unlock the gear from the VoG and it looked like vex, The Dark Below, same story... yes you guessed it looked like hive. Then. later on in the game we got a couple of strikes where you'd maybe get lucky and drop a strike specific piece armour or weapon drop which I totally loved!! Now, D2... To me the raid gear does not represent the same, I was so excited about Caballing up my Titan with huge shoulders and a booster on my back but sadly this couldnt happen, the Raid gear other than being White and Gold doesn't look that Cabbally? There are also no strike specific drops that ive seen? Forgive me if I am wrong but I'm just feeling slightly let down - most of the exotics are re-hashes, we have no variation in weapon perks - Maybe as a day one D1 player I was spoilt with the VoG, birth and death of the Mythoclast and thorn...
