Just Imagine

Two things I must say up front. 1.-I'm tired of unfair expectations and critics of Bungie, so I think we should start HELPING not bashing. 2.- Given Bungie's policies regarding submissions and recomendations, I want to make public knowledge that I have no interest in using any IP arguments regarding this topic, I do this out of love and fascination for Bungie. That being said, I also agree with some critics of the game, specially IHE reviews (except his latest D2 review). Now here are some ideas I think are worth given some thought for future content, all free for Bungie and If you agree, then please support this post or others of the same nature. Now, I've been trying to put some work into my own Indie game, and if there is something I've learned is that the amount of passion, time and sacrifice one puts into his own VG is extraordinary. I can't put into words just how much joy and frustration are involved; from the first working animation to the ever annoying bugs that you can't seem to understand how to even fix. So everytime I get to see/play any new AAA game, I can only admire how good it is, the boldness and artistic views, and I personally believe there is no game without flaws, and among them destiny is one the boldest -yet- flawed game of these decade. Enough praising now to the meat of this post. Have some ideas, mainly these: 1.- New 4th class sketch: The beast master guardian. Basic idea: a new class of guardian which stats are balanced compared to the main three (think warden class in For Honor, if you need inspiration). Where titans have a wall of light, the warlocks have a rift and the hunters have dodge, this guardian light allows him to create bonds with other creatures or servitors, from actual animals like those seen in the concept art to maybe a Fallen Servitor. With these "pets" the Guardian special melee consists on a "attack command" on target, marking said target. Now it's super revolves on the usage and upgrade of his bond with said pet. More on that on subclasses. Banner: green banner with a hound sigil. Vanguard NPC: Miss poncho. Pet slot: the same one where hunters put their cloaks on. You can get rare, legendary pets. Even a exotic "Commander Chiken" pet. You know Cayde-6 would approve! *only one issue game-play wise: where to bind pet keys. I personally believe that double tapping should be the way. Double tap triangle for re summon pet (in case it gets bugged or you wish to cancel action), double tap circle to get your pet in defensive mode (avoid getting hit, attacking in defence), double tap square to get offensive mode (attack enemies on range), double tap X to order your pet to revive fallen allies. A.I.'s are super hard to make but I know Bungie can figure it out. Void Sub-class: it hinges on a symbiotic relationship for your pet. In which the player gets to chose between a path that improves your pet making you its support, or a path that trades some of the pet attributes into your guardian. Super: consists on both the Guardian and it's pet intensifying their bond trading some attributes in a ascended state for a period of time. Void super: allows both guardian and pet to have a percentage of vampirism and shared regeneration, also allowing them to track enemies together by highlighting through walls, yet you remain in neutral play (gun play). Special void grenade: -Illusion mine: a mine that deploys a decoy that affects enemies radars. Solar Sub-Class: a supporting skill tree that allows both guardian and pet to get momentary boosts in combat. A path of survival and a path of the healer. More on that on the super. Solar Super: The guardians bond with his pet extends to nearby allies, granting shared regeneration, melee and grenade energy. Spawning orbs for each ally bonded. Special solar grenade: four (4) Fallen laser mines. With reduced damage but they can be shot instead of throwed. Attaching on any hard surface. Arc Sub-Class: hinges on intensifying the bond between the guardian and it's pet. Chowing between a path that improves offensive capabilities or defensive ones. Arc super: an altered state where both guardian and pet have shared and reduced damage inflicted upon them (tankier) and improved movement speed. Special arc grenade: a lighting rod that does chain lighting damage with minimal damage output but stuns/ slows enemies. Do with these Ideas as you please Bungie! I have more which I'll gladly post if the community are interested, please let me know what you think and as always, I encourage more people to construct a better destiny. I currently can't play D2 over economic issues but I will get on it as soon as I can. I repeat, I do this out of fun and love, with a decent amount for admiration. Best of wishes, a guy from Venezuela.
