Mida coming in at #1 with a usage of 35% and Nameless Midnight coming in at #6 with a usage of 3%. The four guns in between are secondary weapons (Uriel, Prosecutor, Mida Mini Tool, and Last Hope).
So don't try and tell me Mida isn't op because it only has "35% usage rate" that's an insane number. every other primary is either at a 3% usage or lower. The second most used weapon is the Prosecutor coming in at 13% (Secondary Weapon).

all of the top 10 are primaries lol

Mida multi tool Overused: Yes Overpowered: No

Here's some amazing FACTS for you. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_6zsM7kzvg0aUT8YtM_-Wg_5K1gKDOlrwfVzutEjq-s/htmlview?usp=sharing&sle=true# 1. MIDA's TTK is in line with other scout rifles in the same class. 2. MIDA's Archetype isn't even the fastest killing scout rifle archetype in Destiny 2 3. Manannan SR4 is an excellent counter with explosive rounds. 4. The weapon fails at CQC encounters, and is beatable in Mid-range engagements with the right equipment. MIDA users are heavily susceptible to SMGs, Sidearms, Handcannons (don't miss), Auto Rifles (Easily), Most pulse rifles (requires a skilled hand). The presence of HCR on the MIDA hasn't been the deciding factor in equipping the gun for most of the players using it. I'm happy to use my exotic slot on something else in PvP now that I have my Manannan SR4 which send MIDA users running for the hills. I have used the MIDA, I easily beat it regularly, literally any moron with a sufficient amount of brain cells to rub together can beat MIDA. The hate surrounding MIDA is because everytime someone dies they see MIDA Multi-tool in the kill cam, and they turn into triggered cry babies. My suggestion? 1. Sack up 2. Use your brain 3. MIDA users believe that holding that gun makes them un-killable. Exploit their confidence! 4. If you're fighting a long range battle and losing.... uhhh... CLOSE THE GAP DUMMY! 5. Wipe the tears out of your eyes. It'll help you aim. 6. WIN!

I think what you meant to say is over used.
-
Edited by Grimoire Weiss: 9/26/2017 11:54:38 PMJust because a weapon has a good usage rate doesn't necessarily mean it's OP. It does have counterplay to it. Unlike Y1 Vex and Last Word they had very little or no counterplay therefore meaning they are "OP"
-
Mida is a consistent weapon it's not op by any means, it's just good seriously there are so many weapons that can out play it stop complaining about it all cause it's used so much
-
As soon as they nerf it like you want something else will take its place. MIDA is overused but it's not all that great. The only reason it saw mass usage this trials was because of the long sight lines for the map. Wait until a close quarters map and see what people use

I think you mean "overused", not "overpowered".
-
Over used, not op. Locate my post with clips showing a flawless win and outgunning MIDA with a common scout.
-
Can you crybabies just stop
-
Im saying its the map. With it's long lanes it brings out all the scout rifles. I think on a tighter map you won't see it as much. It'll be more auto's. Next week everyone will complain about them being"op".
-
/Error, weapon - Mida, Does Not Compute /Erase skrubs with underused gun? Yes/activated No/denided
-
It isn't OP but it is highly oppressive when all opponents are ADSing one lane. No doubt the best weapon for the current trials map though. I'd expect Bungie to probably remove hcr in the near future and Let's be honest 35% usage Is insanely high I don't think I ever saw one weapon reach those sort of usage numbers in D1.
-
Edited by Xur: 9/25/2017 11:52:55 AMNews flash. This is a big map with loooooooong lanes. Of course people are going to use a mida as it's hands down the best for this map and game mode. On a smaller map with shorter lanes it's going to change to something else. Will you then make a post calling THAT weapon "overpowered" as well? Cause it won't make any sense then either. Edit. What is low-key op is the hunter exotic that gives ads on all weapons. Hunters can use whatever scout they want and keep radar which eliminates the need for mida.
-
Huh. A popular Legacy Exotic that excels in PvP and is easy to obtain has a high usage rate at the early stages of the game? SHOCKING
-
Talking about primary usage in D2 is pretty idiotic, to be honest.
-
But...... they're all primary categories. The other 4 just have elements tacked onto them..........
-
Long range map with tight spaces and corridors. So duh scouts and autos do work it's called playing the map to your advantage.
-
Even the Lore for MIDA tells you it isn't getting nerfed.
-
You know that also means 65% of players are using something else.
-
This map caters to scout users....Stop crying about the Mida Meta Tool. 7 other scouts have same ttk as the Mida.
-
MIDA isn't OP. It's overused. Get your shit straight.
-
it's over used not op...
-
You do understand that there are no primaries in Destiny 2, nor is there secondaries or heavies, right? The only difference between kinetic and energy weapons in PvP is that energy weapons shoot colorful bullets. Your title and most of the post are pretty much pointless...
-
Overused=\=OP Overused means it's good, and everyone uses it OP is literally game breaking, I mean year one gally levels
