LoL I'm reinstalling it right now and getting free content. I stopped playing a month after Ttk so don't have to worry about the stupid nerfs that happened throughout the last years. Well, some of them at least lol As it stands, D1 Vanilla was a lot better then D2. Edit: Since gamers keep saying D2 vanilla is better I decided to add a little list. D2 is soo watered down that it's pathetic and you PvP Gamers are crying like little babies about Mida right now? grow up it barley works in PvE as it is. I guess them pillow fights are too much for ya lol. 1. D1 Vanilla had a hell of a lot more incentive then this. Without incentive the content that is being run right now in D2 means diddly-squat. 2. Visual, that is a very importunate thing in any game nowadays. Y1 weapons had effects that were unique and stood out. 90% of the D2 Vanilla weapons only shoot bullets and literally nothing else. 3. D1 Vanilla you were reworded running strikes right off the bat that allowed you to progress with a chance on getting exotics. IMO Y1 strikes are the best strikes they have made in this game. 4. D1 Vanilla Nightfall you were rewarded right of the bat that allowed you to progress and also had exotics without all the unnecessary loot added to the loot table. No timer forcing gamers to speed run, you could enjoy your time and take your time. Now it's hurry up or your screwed. Hog wash... 5. D1 Vanilla PvP maps were huge and had vehicles you could use plus your sparrow. Since then most maps were made small that caused a lot of the unnecessary nerfs in this game. You had a variety of team mods and you could have 5 friends with you in a fire team. D2, only 4v4, limited game mods with only 3 with you in a fire team. Not much to brag about when it comes to pillow fights. 6. D1 Vanilla, Most weapons worked across the entire board. Since then most things have been nerfed and in D2 because everything is so watered down, PvP gamers are calling for Mida to be nerfed right off the bat when the weapon isn't all that great in PvE. Is this a freaking joke guys??? 7. D1 Vanilla had all Vendors right of the bat. 8. D1 Vanilla, our Guardians were unique that separated one from the other. D2, lets swap supers between characters and call them a new subclass. Yeah... 9. Running Vog allowed you to progress. D2 raid holds you back from what I understand from what has been posted all over this forum. It's not worth the effort on running it at all at this time and you have to run it to unlock a vendor? Hmm, for what, more useless loot at this point to grind for what you will just end up dismantling? 10. D1 Vanilla, you were allowed your sparrow right off the bat. 11. D1 Vanilla, you could go back and reply the story any time you wanted. D2??? 12. D1 vanilla, grim card enough said. 13. D1 Vanilla, VoG a lot of gamers wanted to run it and did. D2 LMFAO Look at this forum :) Should I go on guys? I can if you would like me to ;) I don't care who thinks they can "justify" D2 on how poorly it was released after 10 years of this company working on this game. You are so full of it if you even think D2 Vanilla is better then D1 Vanilla. And trying to use engrams as an argument?
