Buff Graviton Lance
The cosmology perk does nothing compared to the Dragonfly perk I can get on a normal legendary weapon. If I want to do crowd control with an energy weapon I might as well use Tone Patrol (which has dragonfly) leaving my Graviton feeling completely pointless
Edit: I think the gun is extremely solid as it is but it does just need to few fixes including a buff to it's overall damage so it's actually just as good as if not better than legendary pulse rifles and nerf the -blam!- out of that flying distance on the cosmology perk and buff the blast damage/blast radius so it's actually good for crowd control. As far as the recoil goes, it's only a matter of learning how to control the weapon because I often times do good with it in PvP. BUNGIE PLEASE DONT MAKE THIS GUN OP

Where another pulse rifle in the same archetype does 23 damage per crit in a burst, dealing 69. Wtf is the point of the graviton lance? And it's a tickle cannon in pve.

Edited by blade329: 9/22/2017 8:15:20 PMI'm forced to agree. The Graviton has a good perks, but it's far too weak. There's nothing exciting about these exotic guns. I've gotten quite a few already, and the Sunshot hand cannon is the only one that I use regularly. Totally disappointing.

No longer a perk I look for on weapons. But yeah, the Graviton Lance's perk is almost useless because by the time the target explodes, he's too far from other enemies to do any real damage.

2 RepliesThe splash damage effect is pretty useless the recoil makes the gun Not Fun to use SunShot is the superior exotic, explosive rounds plus the firefly effect make for great crowd control also, it shots where you point it always pick the SunShot reward from that quest.

1 ReplyI wouldn't even use Tone patrol it fires way to slow. It's dragonfly perks radius is also really small compared to Sunshots or the vanguard scouts.

The whole category requires a buff lol. Graviton Lance as-is is one of the best pulses out in terms of dmg and ttk. It has high stability, good clip, and fast reload. But yeah, your tone patrol will be much better since scout for range and long range auto for everything else... the range on autos pretty much makes mid-range weapons useless i.e. pulses.

Instead of a delayed, small and weak explosion what if we make it a 3 seconds-slightly smaller vortex nade? (If it’s too strong make it so only precision kills active the perk) and a small reduction of recoil maybe?
