Quick Question

Skilled veteran user here that has nearly everything D1-related minus a few things, the last memory illustration of the opening D2 credits of Wrath Raid completion namely, and has been holding off fully booting up D2 until that is obtained, (checked out sporadically to fully shortly after obtaining almost everything else in ROI in D1 because of a lack of storage space and garbage LFG systems, woulda/shoulda had that ARG emblem too, studied the puzzle and all but didn't get infected on the planet for the starting half of it in time, so it was all for naught) because this user is O C D/methodical/enough of a completionist/collector (got both shirts from moments and age of Triumphs, 5k plus Grim, countless other trinkets digital and physical minus a few trophies because of a lack of frends who play this/these) to not start D2 until this user is satisfied with putting D1 on the shelf for awhile until thse last few strings could be tied up in the future, however, this user (having ordered an expensive collector's edition online) did not have Day 1 access to D2 and didn't find out (can't find any posts about it) any information about a d-line for obtaining these memory illustrations by and is TICKED OFF (to put it mildly) if true. However, this information was brought to this user by only one other online and was wondering as to the validity of it. Can sum1, mod/dev, or otherwise plz do this user a solid and say whether or not this last (11th) memory illustration is obtainable still or should this user just cut their losses and not even start D2? This user has wanted to carve out a niche program or few that this user follows (and this user follows very few franchises) this user could be the (or among the, if there's no way to gauge that in an official leaderboard) best in a multiplayer format, as mastering old single-player-focused programs is something anyone can do at any length of time and this means a lot to this user with little else going for this user. If the ARG emblem (among other trinkets/jewelry/clothing too rare or expensive to obtain at the moment off the 'net shop sites) isn't obtainable anymore AND this user still doesn't have everything for D1 at this point and bungles this user's progress in D2 before even beginning it, it may be time to cut this user's losses (something this user doesn't like to do, this user is one to go down with those select few franchises this user is tied to) and leave the entire community altogether. Can anyone shed some proverbial "light" on the subject and if there would be another time to obtain such things even if they are closed for now? This user understands the rewarding for older players who've been around, but this user IS an older player who HAS been around for all of it (pre-launch/beta/collector-type of customer) and has virtually everything else, it would SUCK for something else to crawl under this guardian's helmet undetected or, even if detected, completely waffld still. Those are the worst kinds of defeats....the ones one sees coming. /rant

 • The only, I stress only things from Destiny 1 that carry over to Destiny 2 is the appearance of your guardians. No gear of any kind will carry over. There are emblems that will be waiting for you, but only if you qualified for them by August 1st, which was the automatic character transfer date. Anything done in D1 after that point will have no impact on D2, so even if you do Wrath of the Machine, you will not get the memory for it at the start of D2. Items can still be earned in D1, except for things related to Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner as those have ended permanently.
