I am about 275 at the moment and I can't find any items (drops, engrams received from NPCs like the gunsmith, the planetary ambassedors, like Failsafe, etc for ressource exchange etc) which are higher than 267, in fact they ALL ARE 267. So I guess, the only way to make progress for me is to do the weekly challenges, the nightfall and the raid, which is tops 5 items (?) per week to progress. Do I get this right?
