Don't change a thing
Dear, bungie
Please don't change the crucible sandbox in any way. The current state of the crucible is balanced and enjoyable. I realize the community had a small uproar this past weekend, but that's no reason to start the adjustments yet. The [u]Trials of the Nine[/u] map favored a specific gun type, and in return a gun rose above the others. However next week the same will happen (if the map is different of course) to a different gun, and another uproar will begin. In the current state of the crucible, abilities feel balanced along with guns and efficiency of each class. Please don't change the crucible to suit a small minority of players who will inevitably do the same thing next week.

Handcannons and 'nade launchers are the only weapon types that need some love tbh.

The only reason I'm not gonna bash on mida is because there is a legendary scout that I believe is better than mida. It's called tone patrol, although I do think scouts are apart of the Uriel's gift meta. Which is a terrible meta to play in might I add. There is really no reason to not use mida with Uriel's gift.

2 RepliesYou are quite simply wrong. Auto Rifles are too good, low skill / high reward weapons for mediocre players to keep up with the good ones. It is unfair. D1 final sandbox was close to perfection, with the only bad thing being sidearms. Everything else was rather excellent.

What I would like fixed is how after I pop my super it randomly changes what weapon I'm holding when it's over. If I started with my secondary auto, i expect to be holding that rather than my kinetic scout when it's over with and that guy that inevitably didn't die pops around the corner

I can't speak on Trials & haven't had any issue with MIDA yet, I have one but rarely use it (I think I used it a few times one day & that was it) but I will say that this post is wrong for one reason...... MATCHMAKING. Now I'm not talking about SB or connection based, I'm talking about how it seems like every game my solo self get matched against a stacked team, whether it be 3 or 4, heck even just two can snowball a team of solo que players. This massively sucks the fun out of crucible cause even in quick play it doesn't feel like there's a chance a winning unless I put on my try hard pants & even than it's not always possible when there's no coordination between my team even with me playing wing man. This really needs to be addressed.

Rifts with turrets no recovery and shooting thru walls seriously and i still do good its just boring sharing kills i went 24 n 0 i prob killed 3 in all honesty like wtf then when u play a good team its like watching paint dry

I actually found it pretty difficult choosing subclasses and abilities. Non were really to much better then the others. They just got specific play styles. I'm not used to this and I rather enjoy it.

There's nothing balanced about being mapped by an auto rifle. Auto rifles should not be able to take on a scout or pulse rifle at long distances.

Very good post I don’t have mida but I haven’t ever been killed by it once and I play crucible all the time. And ARs are the best in crucible.

I saw 35% of players used mida, does that not prove anything, 35%?!?! Not saying it should, but it'll as well as auto rifles (D1 huge lolz) will get nerfed.

6 RepliesThis community has a weird relationship with weapon effectiveness and usage. If a weapon is effective, like the MIDA on the last Trials map, then everyone wants it... ...until everyone is using it. Then they want it nerfed. That is essentially D1 in a nutshell: every meta began with someone discovering something was effective, and the massive race for everyone else to acquire said weapon until it oversaturated the field that the same people rushing to get the gun were complaining about how everyone is using it. TLW Thorn Suros Regime High RoF AR's High RoF PR's Snipers Fusion Rifles (even after they were made absolutely useless) Shotguns Sidearms Etc etc It is hard to find a weapon some streamer did not highlight as "GAWDLY!", only to have the community in general race to get said weapon to then bitch about everyone else using it as well. What makes this even more laughable is how this style of gameplay actually promotes [b]skill[/b] over weapon advantage - if everyone is using the same weapon, then those who are more effective with said weapon will be victorious. So when you see posts from people complaining about everyone having something, chances are they are a bit salty the MIDA in their hands was not as effective as the MIDA in the person that just killed them xD [spoiler]Also, as a side note: I played PvP last night on my titan for the initial call to arms quest (need to play 2 quickplay and 2 competitive games) - There were a lot of MIDA users dying to my blue AR simply because the maps were smaller, and their advantage was not there. A nice AR with HCR's will put those MIDA users reticle to the ceiling, so yeah, it is a situational weapon, just as the OP points out.[/spoiler]
