Nightfall Time Modifier Bonus Idea

Hey guys, So I have an idea of how to better execute the "Bonus Time" modifier in the Nightfalls. The current system has been rings that feel clumsy or awkward to obtain. In my opinion, they take you out of the strategy and take you out of the intense heat of the action in a Nightfall. When I am doing a Nightfall, I like to use teamwork and focus on killing baddies, but the rings feel like something out of an entirely different game or at least a different game mode. With that said, I have come up with a concept that Bungie can execute pretty easily and is right in line with Bungie's quirkiness. Instead of rings, I propose that Bungie implements a "Bonus Time" modifier that keeps you IN the action as opposed to pulling you out of the gunfights and the activity you are playing. For example, while you are in an intense gunfight, a relatively small bullseye will randomly appear in a location near the enemies. It can be located at any distance, but preferably in an accessible, yet not too easily place. The bullseye would be surrounded by an over-shield corresponding with one of the energy types: solar, void, or arc. The kicker is that you MUST use the given energy type to hit the bullseye, or it will be "immune" to your damage. Further, you have 5-10 seconds to hit the target, which will give you 1 minute or 30 seconds per player that hits the target respectively. This system will do 3 important things: (1) it will keep you in the action; (2) it will encourage players to stick with the theme of using a wide spectrum of guns since you won't be able to change gun types and have enough time to hit the bonus; and (3) it will encourage communication and teamwork among the players. Because the element on the bullseye will change every single time one pops up, if every player has 2 different element types on their guns across the board to ensure even coverage, fireteams will typically have 2 players hit the target per bullseye, netting between 1 minute and 2 minutes per target depending on which times bullseye appears. I would love to hear any feedback the community may have. If Bungie is listening, I am open to do any consultation work for you guys!
