The New Nightfalls are AIDS
WTF is the point of a power lvl if being 43 power lvl above the recommended power lvl and still getting 2 shot,the game is supposed to be fun,this has irritated me more then say,f@%k yeah that was great,bungies new nightfall system is trash!

It is not that difficult I have completed it 3 times out of 4 attempts and the only reason for the 4th fail is that there was only 2 of us as 1 bailed early on and we were still only a few seconds away from killing him. If you make sure you get all the anomalies you have a good 8-10 minutes to kill the boss. It is meant to be challenging. I for one enjoy it being challenging and hope the next one is just as tough.

2 RepliesAs someone that originally felt like you I can honestly say just take your time and try it. They can be done but require multiple runs and communication to form a solid strategy. It's just a different kind of challenge. In D1 it became too easy to just steamroll through NFs. These honestly aren't that bad once you play to the modifiers, learn the level and talk with your teammates.

Don't think of it as a power level. Think of it as an "Access Level". Once you meet Access, it does nothing for you.

4 Repliespractice. its really not bad if u use the right strat . you need to create a ton of orbs against the boss. easy to do if you're smart about it. Just quit crying tho... nightfall is susposed to be tough. Play strikes if u hate a challenge.

Me and 2 buddies 288+ all of us. Dying, looking for anomaly's dying and running out of time. Twice. Uninterested and frustrated we disbanded. There are too many checkpoints to clear. Inverted Spire allowed for skipping large chunks of shooting/time sucks. There is nothing to skip. More anomaly's and more time.

Oh yeah this week's was a real ball buster. But damn I've never been so excited to see a nightfall boss to fall only to get another not class item. Honestly I loved the extra challenge

I think it's great extra challenge, now you can just camp out the entire n8ghtfall taking your sweet time basically bypassing the AI. And it's exhilarating when it comes down to the wire too. Great fun.

I also can't stand the timer. It's a weak way of artificially increasing difficulty. And that damn prism needs the boot too.

In Destiny there are so many time system "hey you need to finish this PE in 1 mi 30 s" ; " Hey you need to finish exotic quest in x amount of time" , it feels like a racing game trying to get the best lap time. I really don't like this model

I'm 292 /95 and yeah light and power never mattered in nightfall. They are stupid hard for a reason at least THIS time you actually get helpful loot

honestly the nightfall is easy however there's alot of time wasted because the boss is bs personally i don't like this timed nightfall everytime i feel it should be a modifier i could see prestige being timed all the time i also hate that you don't get an aura at all for nightfall anymore only prestige they should offer 1 for normal and a special one for prestige

Honestly do you guys know there are anomalies which you can destroy to get 30 seconds extra because if you destroy all of them you have so much time. We finished it with 7 minutes to spare
