That seems to be their logic with Destiny 2 as a whole. Bungie seems to have taken every good idea and system in D1, completely destroyed it, and replaced it with an inferior system. Raid revives Shaders Infusion Matchmaking All things that had near perfect systems already, but have been replaced by inferior, grindy garbage.

Let's allow the jobless tryhards to get miles ahead of everyone in the first week by repeatedly completing milestones on duplicate characters, and then ninja patch it in week two by dropping exotic and luminous engram loot below your current power level. I think Bungie did it all backwards this time. they spoon feed us what, 5-6 exotics through just plowing through and finishing the campaign and extra story quests after to get the exotic quests. It threw me off when I was getting exotic after exotic. Then when they stop spoon feeding you and expect you to go do strikes till your mind numb and be happy with the lower level gear. Don't get me started on the raid. this is where I think it's all twisted. I shouldn't be able to take a buddy and some loot coins and go crush a few heroic events in a hour and get more exotics and legendries than I do putting 12 -15 hours in the damn raid and get little to nothing. I got a rifle and my chest piece but no exotic for the mental atrocity that is the buggy raid. it's ass backwards personally you should get little or not much from publics and get better time worthy rewards from strikes and the raid just my 2c and what destiny has twisted.

I'm on the fence. If you're focusing on leveling, especially up to 265, it can force you to use weapons you don't really like. On the other hand in doing so you get better at using those weapons. I hated hand cannons in d1 but now that I've had to use them quite a bit in d2 I've gotten to where I think they're alright and don't hate using them anymore

This wouldn't even be a conversation if we weren't spoiled in Destiny 1. People complain about the weapon infusion and yet somehow miraculous way by weapons are are significantly higher light on 2 of my characters than my armor. And sure shaders are different but in reality they drop like candy, I have over 50 of some shaders. People need to stop looking for reasons to complain.

To be honest. I think its shit. And on top of that i Infused a shitty gun with 274 light into a low one with 258 light but with good skill and out came a 268 one... -blam!- this shit system. I want the D1 one back...

I mean...you can't take random Glock parts, and use them to enhance a shotgun, so.. yeah it's actually reasonable.

I think (hope) that the loot pool is so meager because it's the start of the game. Hopefully we get some better stuff. The Warlock armor is tragic. I have one decent looking set and it requires me to be a Dawnblade full time. I like Dawnblade,but I want choices. The warlock helmets ...I mean really...who designed them? They are terrible. Why can't I get more than one good scout rifle?

I am a day 1 Destiny 1 player. With the launch of Destiny 1 it was pretty rough. I waited it out, and what the taken King release it improved a lot. And at the end of year 3 the game was awesome and felt like a complete game. And the Destiny Community is great. With all that said, the launch of Destiny 2 was everything I ever wanted in the launch of Destiny 1. Bungie has really impressed me. It feels like a full game in the first week. PVE and PVP are great. In PVE we have a full beautiful story with lore to find if you look for it. And if you're more than a casual player you have a lot of challenges after the story. And in PvP it is great and any player can participate in the trials of the nine after completing milestones. And the opening sequence for Trials of the nine is so awesome makes you feel like a superhero going to battle. I don't understand what everybody is complaining about. I guess Taylor Swift said it right " haters going to hate" LOL. To all people complaining about timed night Falls, ammo synthesis, drops in the raid, how hard the raid is, and all the rest of the complaints. I really think you're a bunch of babies. This is end game content! If you can't take the Heat get your rear out of the kitchen! These objectives are for the hardcore players! If you can't complete them you really need to step your game up. Don't be complaining that they're too hard! I don't want it system where I get everything in the first raid. Stop complaining I don't want them to Nerf it. And I think it's great you have no ammo synthesis it adds more challenge. As for the drops you get coins to turn into the vendor after you complete the raid. I think a lot of you just want to sail through the raid and have somebody carry you. Nope you're going to have to get good! And I think it's hilarious that people complain about the timed Nightfall, it is so easy. I really believe that people just want to complain to complain. This game is really awesome! Stop complaining so much that Bungie Nerf's everything great about this game. You're really going to ruin it for people who actually enjoy playing Destiny.
