As I went to see the difference between a Default paint job and a Shader applied to my gun last night, the Shader vanished. Having seen the outcry on /r/dtg and here, I now know they are [i]all[/i] single use. Bungie, this is wrong. Everything about this game has been absolutely perfect. The beautiful music, the stellar story, the excellent balance and pacing, the world building and voice acting, and the sheer volume of exploration and excellent integrated features is all phenomenal and then it all comes to a grinding halt as you gate the very customization that is the core of your player focus behind a damn paywall. This is unacceptable and quite disappointing to this long-time fan. If changes to this system are not underway after today's vehement outburst of completely validated indignation, I sincerely hope that it is being deeply discussed and will be addressed. This game is great but without the throttling of player customization, it could be damn near perfect. Please Bungie, please resolve this.
