LEGENDARY ITEMS
List the best way you've obtained a legendary item whether it be a gun or armor. As destiny 2 has been launch and I'm level 20 I've still been struggling to find legendary armor. Anybody else?

Faction packages. I saved up all my gunsmith materials until I was level 20, which ended up being around 90, and I got three packages out of it that gave at least 1 legendary apiece. With how easy it is to get tokens for the planet vendors and materials for Arcite, they're definitely the most reliable way of getting legendaries.

1 ReplyI have only played for a few hours (currently level 10) but have gotten all greens, like 2 blues, no legendaries, and two exotics (one from the quest line)

Planetary tokens to rep up are the best way. Once I hit level 20 legendary engrams started dropping. I've gotten three in a few hours of playing just today.
