Bungie, what exactly was the point of removing one of the turbines on the Homecoming mission? What exactly is so wrong about placing even moderately challenging obstacles in the way of the players? What exactly is so wrong with requiring the player to make smart decisions and use critical thinking to get passed certain sections?
This babying of the playerbase is exactly why gaming is deteriorating. Today's generation of gamers have become entitled, and lazy; unwilling to improve their skills to access the next level or acquire the best gear. Destiny is not World of Warcraft. It is not Final Fantasy. It is not Runescape. Virtually no content in Destiny would be considered difficult, and many of the changes being made by Bungie are just downright silly, and this is a prime example.

So one day we could say 'I still remember when there used to be a turbine in here and someone left the disco ball on.'
