Anyone who despises Destiny 1 thinking about giving Destiny 2 a chance?
This is not a thread for a lot of people here (obviously). This is directed towards those who are like me that hated Destiny 1 on release and refused to spend more money to make the game better. There are a lot of us for a lot of reasons. Heck even if you got the DLC but hate Destiny 1 feel free to share your thoughts too.
I'm curious to see what other people are planning on doing when Destiny 2 comes out because I don't know what I want to do. I hate Destiny 1 so much that it makes me bitter seeing anything Destiny related because I burned so much money getting the first game to be so disappointed with it, I'm at the point where I don't think I'll even try the free Destiny 2 beta because of this. I want to like Bungie again, I want to see them hit their stride like they did with Halo, I just don't want to be disappointed again.
So this is why I ask you lot of similar situated people, will you be trying the Destiny 2 Beta? Will you buy Destiny 2? What are you waiting to see before you make your decision?
I am fully aware I may be one of the only people that hate Destiny this much yet still pop by the forums. Hopefully I'm not.
To those who feel the urge to ask the question "If you hate the game so much why are you still here?" I'll answer before you ask. I adored the Halo series and I believe Bungie may still be able to pull off a series as good as Halo but I don't think Destiny is the series to do that based on the first game. I wait for the series to end or change enough to be good enough to invest time in again. I have also been a member on Bungie.net for over 9 years so I don't plan on leaving just because of one bad game series.
