The problem with Story Missions

Well, we all here have played story missions at least once after expansion....but after that? I know, there is no challenge on doing them in solo mode. And there is the feeling that our guardian is the center of the universe because he/she has done everything by him/herself. I believe story missions should be more challenging, where you need help from your friends to complete them.....imagine story missions as raid phases....cool, right? With puzzles and real cooperative work (not like strikes) Each mission could have its own specific reward, a weapon or a piece of armor (in this point similar to strike reward system) If all the story line in Destiny 2 could be like a huge raid, that would be great. I think this would add more value to all the story missions and they won't be forgotten as the lots of story missions we have now on Destiny 1 (we paid for them, but became worthless)

  • On the idea that story missions need co-op and assistance from others. I feel their is a lost potential with these characters. A Titan, the tank, a hunter the stealthy like one, the warlock of magic. I feel if a door needs to be opened them the Titan smashes it, if there's a tight spot, the hunter enters, dark forces which the warlock will face. These characters need to have roles. If every gaurdian can do the same job than what's the point of a firetrap. This will help people to go out and actually want to meet people to complete missions. Another thing, I hope destiny two has a gifting system. Everyone has that one friend whom has six suros regimes, fifteen thunder lords and eight ghalijourn. I feel with a gifting system where a player can go to the post master and send gifts to other players. This would be AMAZINGLY!! The helpfulness this could create would be just out there. I feel that destiny two will have to absolutely blow us away. And lastly, chat happens to our hard work? In destiny one we all started with this new character ready to kick some ass. But what about destiny two? If we use the same PSN account than shouldn't we still be able to play as our old characters? I feel that by dropping here characters, we will lose a sense of connection to these characters that we have worked so hard to build up. Yeah we can get new ones and make them even more badass but it won't feel as, like I guess I'm meaning to say, if we change to new guardians than basically the feeling of accomplishment and connection will be lost. I understand destiny is not the best game, no game is, Rees always room for improvement but I hope that bungie looks at legacy console players and takes their suggestions seriously.
