Terrible bug with the bungie app
As a player finding new loot is always a joy. Especially from raids. Although, there is a bug with this that has to be fixed very soon. If you transfer anything to another character with a full slot of that item it straight up deletes it. This didn't really bother me until today when I transferred my 399 zeal vector (I am still 395) to my warlock and it disappeared from existence. This really bothers me not just for myself because it took three hours to complete and simply wanting all raid weapons, but for others with thing even harder to get and better. I know I won't just get it back out of sympathy and I along with any other player that has encountered this major issue will have to hours upon hours getting that thing back.

2 RepliesHey, The item does not get deleted. Sometimes when using the Gear Manager to transfer items, things can become temporarily lost. This happens when there's insufficient space in either your vault or on your character. Try checking your vault and characters in-game. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12655

It moves it to your vault. If you are looking on the app and can't find it in your vault, refresh the page by dragging down on the vault page until the little loading circle shows up, once it refreshes your stuff will be there. People say their stuff randomly got deleted all the time, but nothing ever gets deleted unless you infuse or dismantle it.

always double check your vault, because the transfer of an item from 1 character to another goes through the vault first. Otherwise, as noted, they do tend to show up later on after a visit to oblivion and back :)
