Hey, I haven't played Destiny since the Kings Fall raid and I only beat it on normal. I have bought Rise of Iron and I feel lost, but besides that, is it worth it to play the old raids, or do they drop outdated gear?

Edited by Mar: 5/29/2017 3:42:20 AMshould do the 390 versions of vault of glass and crota's end. both are really fun, vault of glass slightly more so in my opinion. Crota's end can be a little glitchy at times and crota himself can be a pain and a half especially with the challenge mode, but its a fun time. Maze of darkness followed by a puzzle that requires the whole team to work together and kill things with swords, a mini boss of sorts that tests your group to work fast but carefully and a last boss that requires a sword user to hit him after a bunch of rockets slam into him. But as i said, it can get glitchy alot. Vault of glass is great, templar is a bit of a pain now with the changes they made to it so that part will either be a breeze or a brick wall depending on you're group (sorta like gol'goroth if you have people who don't know how to take gaze). But the raid is really fun over all, a mutli part boss (templar is technically only one part of it but you are dealing with him for 3 encounters), a stealth maze, a jumping puzzel, and a last boss that actually allows people to die and fail without causing a total group wipe while still being challenging. The loot from them is also great, vault of glass has arguably the "best" weapons in the raids (and if you like the vex design the armor is amazing) and crota's end has some great armor and more than a few good weapons. and they all drop at 390-400 light, and to my knowledge only require XP and glimmer to unlock the perks.
