Oryx Challenge bug
So I'd been doing the 390 King's Fall raid and we were doing the oryx fight the challenge method because it's easier that way. We'd wiped a few times and finally gotten into the swing of things, and then detonated all 16 blights at once, doing everything properly, and then Oryx glitched back to the centre with full health and started the echo of oryx round. Can anyone tell me what happened? We had done everything right, and it was more than a bit annoying since we got no loot from about an hour of fighting oryx only for it to end with a glitch before everyone left. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, were you able to still get weapons/Armour by contacting Bungie or something? I don't really want to go into that boss fight again this week since it had glitched once or twice before that point, just not at such a critical moment.

Just making a guess, but I think it was a poor connection among the players in your lobby. Sometimes it helps to change the party leader by disbanding, and then going to orbit and re-joining on the intended host. I know it's anecdotal, but it has worked for me in the past when such things happen.

2 RepliesWere the people in center shooting oryx while the bombs were going off? If you don't shoot him in the chest, the bombs don't do any damage.
