Special ammo these days is sadly the worst it has ever been. Whilst i wasnt necessarily an advocate for getting shotgunned/sniped constantly, taking away all special ammo when you die is just ridiculous. Dont get me wrong, I'm aware that sidearms give you special on spawn and am happy that they now have a little more prevalence in crucible than they used to. I have played multiple games recently where one team has pretty much wiped the other and it then becomes incredibly one sided for a while because one team has snipers/shotguns and special ammo but the other team only has primaries. Also, I played Trials this weekend and felt like it was basically have an Icebreaker or go home. Thats not even because Icebreaker is OP either, its because you have no special ammo at the start of every round, except the first. Basically, TL/DR revert special ammo back to how it used to be before it was taken away on death
