I've never been flawless but I can go whenever I want via a streamer from Twitch. I'm just not that dedicated to do it at this point in D1 so I'll save my "loyalty points" to his stream for D2 if I end up getting it. Right now I've decided not to get it but I'm gathering info in order to help make my decision.
Anyway, how do you all feel about that comment from her? She's not ashamed to admit she is a Trials Hunter elitist and hates the other classes with a passion and has 0 sympathy for bad pvp players. I do not agree with her stance but I respect the hell out of the way she stands behind her thoughts with no apologies. I personally think it's a bad idea because I don't feel you can make Xur a pvp only reward and that's assuming we even see him in his current state in D2.

Edited by Ghodzila: 4/20/2018 11:16:43 PMThis is for MS. 5000 Watts: So, those of us who play Destiny 2 for PVE should be excluded from Xur? No, thanks. I have over 1100 hours total on all three platforms in D2 with nine 335 guardians, and I rarely do Crucible, Iron Banner or Trials. I know people pay for flawless carries, and I went through the same crap in WOW with paid Arena carries ruining that activity. If this became policy, I would stop playing the game. This is a game, and games should be played for fun and to escape the oppressive rules of daily life and work. Different people prefer different activities in a game. Your idea is elitist and absolutely unfair to those of us who enjoy this game for the PVE element. It is also grossly unfair to solo players and players who enjoy open world exploration. Frankly, I hope that this has been misunderstood by someone. I listen to DCP podcast, and you are usually quite reasonable. I have the impression from your comments that you really enjoy PVP and I am told you are quite good at it, but I never took you for an elitist who would lock the majority of the community out of an important feature of the game. If this is true and you really said this, I am very disappointed. Gamer snobs are not good representatives of an open, diverse community.

What do u have to back up these statements? Sounds like frivolous dribble to me. Attention seeking loser

Edited by Sturm with no Drang: 5/28/2017 7:14:20 AMDo I agree with what you are implying? No. Xur helps with getting the goods. Do I know this person/streamer and really care? Not really. Do I believe that you are looking too much into what she said and are trying to twist things around to spark controversy in spite of what seemed like something that was said on a whim and not on a particularly serious note? Yeah, it kinda seems that way. -5 brownie points

I think it is an AWESOME idea! Why should all the scum who play the game get anything? Destiny is for elite players only. D2 is going 4v4 and is built for competitive gameplay, everyone else should just save your money and go play something else. Destiny is no longer for you. It is now just for the top 1%! So long suckers!!!

Edited by Death_by_Mukbang: 5/28/2017 11:35:14 AMWhere's the 'stupidist f@cking idea of the year' choice? BTW, who?
-
Sure, and you can only play trials after completing the raid
-
is ms. 5000 watts hot?
-
Well it's only 7:00am in the morning but this will probably be the dumbest -blam!-ing thing I'll read all day.
-
I think they should make the "lighthouse" more accessible to players. Maybe accumulating a currency for trying to play trials that can buy a trip to the "lighthouse". It would entice more people to play the game mode and extend the life of the game more.
-
Who cares? What the better question is, why did she give a guy a bj on twitch? Google it lmao.
-
This is the dumbest idea ever
-
I like how some people seem to think that a PvP game mode, played on an inferior P2P setup, somehow shows anyones skill level. Instead of Git Gud maybe Git Lucky better fits the situation for many of us. But I digress...
-
The faster we stop acknowledging streamers, the better off Destiny as a series will be.
-
I cant believe its not 100% I hate it and its not fair. Im not a good pvper, but come on it defeats the point of xur and as a PvE titan I would tell that streamer to -blam!- off. Destiny is a PvE based game. Thats why we got trials so late but got a raid shortly after launch. Right now PvP might be what most people play, but why when a new raid or expansion comes out is when the most people play. Many more people flocked to the entirely PvE bases Age of Triumph or April update, but not so much to iron banner. Not to mention Trials is complete bullshit and you can be good and get -blam!-ed over one week or be bad, pay some money and get that 9-0.
-
Ok so keep how xür is right now comes Friday and Saturday but maybe there is a another agent of the nine at the lighthouse or were ever you go when you get flawless that sells some trials related gear But keep xür for everyone to use and abuse
-
She was the one with the blowjob porn vid.
-
I like how there is 4% of people who actually want this
-
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard
-
She's dumb and has a huge ego. Also...who cares what she thinks?
-
I think she should be shunned and ostracized from the community. People like her who do nothing but Trials and charge people for carries (which violates ToS) ruined the first game. Destiny 2 is their dream come true and I urge everyone to do a massive boycott to make Activi$ion listen to the casuals and get a new CEO. The current CEO cares for nothing but money and I want the new CEO to care about the ordinary player and rethink their contract with Bungie while removing E-Sports from their games.

🤷♂️ streamers are all full of 💩, doesn't matter what's hanging from their chest or between their legs, especially Trialbabies. They're all scabs and were a cancer to Destiny with their incessant whining about ____killing them and it not being fair for the last few years. I was hoping that the devs would pull Trials and rebuild it from the ground up. There is no "skill" in it, it's "they who have the camp spot and Icebreaker out first win". When I was told it was suppose to be the "cream of the crop" in terms of skill I assumed that the mode would be using set loadouts so that there is complete balance on both teams and they would need to rely on their gun skill. It was not nor has it ever been, it's 3v3 Iron Banner every weekend.
-
I want Xur to be a traveling merchant type vendor, he can be in any reasonable place on any map, and switches locations every 2 hours or so. He doesnt change gear until reset. I think it'll make him hard but rewarding to find, instead of him being a guaranteed thing every weekend. Which i hated.

Edited by Ahrizu: 5/26/2017 6:44:07 PMlol, who died and made her Queen of Destiny? As you said it yourself, Trials is incredibly easy to rig. That emblem and any prestige that goes along with it is meaningless, just have deep pockets or have a friend that has godly skills. As if she doesn't know already, but Bungie does whatever the hell they want with this game. Yes, occasionally they'll take suggestions if it fits with what they are going for, but it's more often than not an offshoot, and never a guarantee. Their objective is to cater to most people (casuals and hardcore, different ages, new and old players, etc.) Which is why what she is suggesting will never happen. Ever.

Edited by Talia Sendua: 5/27/2017 10:03:36 PM
Ms. 5000 Watts wants Xur to only sell to players who have went flawless for D2
The first sentence I ever heard which is more stupid than the things Donald Trump said while his election campaign. #bingbingbong ;) But it's mostly unimportant because we will unlock the most exotics in Destiny 2 while playing the Story.
