What are the Awoken up to in Destiny 2?
So after the Cabal wipe the floor with us I was thinking what are the Awoken doing. I mean I know they got hit hard by Oryx and still haven't recovered but I'm at least hoping they send us an aid although they are always about survival so what if they instead help out the Cabal although unlikely you never know what could happen. Maybe they find clean and she's gone crazy after what happened and attacks us too or maybe they just don't do anything because they can afford to loose any more lives and resources. What do you guys think?

The Queen is dead, as reported in the Grimoire Card for Telesto. But I'm curious as well, considering Regent Petra Venj was glad we could help each other before... And Rasputin probably could have done something, but I think he was also cut off during the storm. The Cabal probly used something to disable the Tower's radars since they couldn't detect them so easily, and considering that Rasputin had nothing to say in alert. Oh well, hopefully these answers come within the next minor expansion, or they may be better explained in a larger expansion. \_(:P)_/

The Awoken, akin to Rasputin, saw that this was a battle that they couldn't win. So they hunkered down and let the Cabal pass, uncontested. Personally, I can't blame them. The Cabal weren't after them, so there wasn't really a reason to attack with the minimal forces that they have left over from their semi-successful attack on the Dreadnaught. The Red Legion would have mopped the floor(does this metaphor apply in space battles?) with them.
