Destiny 2's Destruction of the Solar System Theory

**Disclaimer** the following is complete theory and I do not have knowledge of any information outside of what Bungie has already released to the public now and in the past. This theory just came to me because I was watching my old clips and I was on Instagram and saw Bungie's post on Ghaul, along with having seen My Name is Byf's video on the topic of this cutscene. So what if, just what m***** f****** if the supernova cutscene is what happens in the raid if you don't beat the final boss encounter. Bungie is obviously already known for dropping some spoilers along with glimpses of the raids in previous reveal and launch trailers. But they've never shown middle parts of the raids at the end of trailers (even though the raid is endgame) so this cutscene could be symbolic as the absolute final thing we see (the raid being the final thing we do) if the Cabal succeed in their attack. They've shown Ghaul and what his plans are already so maybe we kill him in the main story (technically like in The Taken King) and he's not in the raid and we fight some other final raid boss like in the rest of the rest of the storylines. Or we don't kill him and he is the final raid boss, that doesn't matter. The part that came as a huge realization to me is that in Halo Reach if you don't beat the final mission in time then you get this cutscene of the Covenant Cruiser glassing the land and that's it. You just end in failure and start over. Now why I think they would add cutscenes like this to a raid is because it's a new game. They can make the experience more grand if they want to, they already added a cutscene in Wrath of the Machine. Why not make the ultimate destruction of the solar system a thing in the raid if you fail to beat it? The story could go as this: the Cabal come, take our light, we pick ourselves up, bring everyone back together, we get the light back (end main storyline), and the Cabal get mad and want to destroy the solar system to wipe us out because we got in their way. That's the perfect way to set up a raid. We have to go to this ship-gun-star-destroyer-type-ship and stop the Cabal from doing is insane and extreme thing and if we fail, well, they bring the end to our system. I can just feel this is probably what they set up and I've hyped myself up from this lol. If this isn't it then I feel like, as a waste of an epic ending imo, they would push back the last part of the storyline I theorized into the main storyline and add this as a cutscene to the final mission, like in Halo Reach, rather than the raid.
