When will bungie fix this problem of matching people with full teams?
-
I always check the roster and if I see 6, I back out.
-
I don't think Bungie sees this as a problem, but they should. There are lots of solo players out there that want to remain solo. It's frustrating but nothing will be done about it. Just the other day I was flying into a match and I checked the roster. There was a team of 4, a team of 2 and solo players. They put the team of 4 and team of 2 on the same team and...you know the rest.

i dont mind full teams so much. a lot of times people fly in and get in the fireteam chat anyway so its like youre playing against a premade fireteam. what i HATE is how they say its sbmm but more often than not im faced against 6 players who went positive and on my team i ll be the only one who goes positive.. so the other 5 how did they get in if its skill based? i want to know whos skill its based on. they should clarify that a bit more cause the amount of lopsided beatdowns i take due to being paired with disasters is astounding

It needs to be a setting where you click it and never go against a team of more than 2 people. This is why I loved when they had that lone wolf mode in the pvp playlist.
-
It's not a "problem" so there is no need for a "fix"

There are plenty of us in the same boat guardian. Used to irritate me( especially on the kill while leading bounties). But now, I'm a tad better, enjoy the challenge, and kd raises slightly. Now thrown into a 11/12 match on the short side behind by 2k? Gets me edgy. I do my best at putting my sweaty pants on in those matches, I fair ok so more fun and satisfaction that I don't suck at pvp✌️

Edited by ││█║▌│: 5/26/2017 12:38:01 PMI don't mind facing fireteams as long as 90% of them don't lag, or the map isn't tiny as -blam!-. I was against a fireteam of five earlier that had two red bars that were delayed as -blam!-, the map was Asylum, and my team were mostly inactive. I couldn't move without getting team shot all the time, I got minced... They were in the next game on a bigger map, and although we lost, I got my revenge by slaughtering them. On big maps it's easier to get 1v1s, but on the smaller maps your only hope is that you have competent teammates. It's hard to win playing solo or with a small fireteam, but those little personal victories like the above are also worth it. I face more parties in other games than I do in Destiny, but a lot of the maps in Destiny are tiny which make it a bigger problem.

I don't think they are adding a ranked option in D2 so you'll probably have the same issue in the next game.
-
Or just play the game with a team... It's much better that way. I get that people won't always be available when you want to pay, but seriously this game is meant to be played in a fireteam. It's not Bungie's fault for matching you against a team, it's your fault for putting yourself at a disadvantage and then bitching about it.
-
Ya I hate that too
-
Bungie: We hear you loud and clear *Placed into a team of 2*
-
People act as if this isn't an issue in any game. I played with a 5-stack of gm's & top 500's in Overwatch recently
-
Mmmmm Yaaa were going to need you to come in Saturday to finish those tps reports , mmmm yaaaa that'd be great
-
lol there's no problem. Just leave and find another game.
-
Worst is their -blam!-ing connections fireteams always lagging
-
Every game was against full fireteams this eve. Every game us randoms had a 7% chance of winning. Fun. Conclusion: I would rather have my nuts squished with a mallet than play 6v6 this week.
-
I would say use game chat, but in all the crucible I've played I've never seen crucible game chat ever used lmao
-
Take it as a compliment. It's skill based matchmaking. 99% of the games I'm in I'm thinking "bungie you flatter me. I'm not thattttt good"
-
Every now and then me and a bunch of randoms realize about a minute in that we are against a coordinated team and we somehow pull our shit together and eek out a win... Thise games make up for the bad ones.
-
Its not a problem, so, never i should imagine.
-
Idk why you complain, what do you expect it's a game made for team play. I get it it's annoying bc they work together while your team of randoms are being idiots but that's the game, find yourself a crew if your unhappy.
-
What else do you thino they do while waiting for d2 to come out, they gotta troll
-
I always play through. Makes the win sweeter when I play. It is very possible to still win and/or give that team hell as a rando. It depends on the skill levels involved for sure, but it sure is fun when you stomp the would be stompers.
-
Just played almost a perfect game of control with randoms. Got the "We're breaking up those teams", only to be put in a match that had 30 sec left in it and then see the "We're breaking up those teams" again....
-
I say suck it up and finish the match. From my experience it doesn't happen too often. The weak minded with low self esteem will always quit and leave.... pussies...

Edited by blade329: 5/25/2017 5:45:23 PMWell, at this point in the game, there's not much they can do about it. There probably aren't enough players in PvP to accommodate you. That happens to me (solo player) all the time. When it happens I give up all notions of winning and just try to salvage my K/D. If it's really bad, and I'm just cannon fodder, then I bail out of the game entirely. That doesn't happen often, but I do have limits on my patience. I've learned to embrace Rumble now.
