Like if you think D2 won't be half bad
Let's get this out of the way. I don't support some of the desisions made for D2

But I'm giving Bungie the benefit of the doubt. The game looks good. The gunplay still looks smooth af even at 30fps. PvP is primary based supported by abilities and power weapons, so it won't be a fest of OHK weapons and abilities.
I'm crossing my fingers that there's a good story. I hope Ghual is just as badass as Oryx was in Regicide. I hope most exotics come from adventure quests to make it feel like a proper RPG.
Most of all I just hope people won't as toxic then. Give the game a chance. If you don't like it remember GameStop a return policy. If the game turns out to be trash in the beta than we can all whine about it together.
Just my little rant.

I think PVE will be good. It seems they broke PVP by continuing to go down the rabbit hole of the recent D1 nerfs. A game that once had gun skill now has only team shot (even more in D2 it seems). So either you play in a stacked fireteam or you get owned.

Fingers crossed for pvp matches where the other team isn't full of fireteams, and I have the randoms attempting an uphill battle. We try and try, but the developers just don't know how to make a game.

5 RepliesJust a heads up, PvP as well as Destiny will be using a Hybrid Network. Unlike Destiny 1, D2 will be using Bugies server as priority and less on a P2P connection. P2P will still be a part of it but less weighted than it was in D1, and because of this... YOU HAVE SUMMONED ME!

It looks like d1 content all overagain Only difference is..expectations will be MUCH lower than d1 release for normal people. Normal people will have lower than needed expectation. Ironically it will be the biggest fans that will face dissapointed expectations this time.

I enjoyed destiny and I'll also enjoy destiny 2. A lot of complaints saying it's just a reskin. Is this your first time playing a sequel? It's in the destiny universe so how does it make sense to create all new races and classes? Even if it had the exact same graphics as the original, I'll still be happy with it. I've gotten a lot of hours per dollar of entertainment from destiny which is something I can't say for most games. If you want a completely different game then buy something that isn't destiny. There is a lot of options out there.

Yah, Bungie's had a lot of time to think this through. They deserve a chance. I'm not saying they'll pull through. I'm saying they might. Oh, and has anyone caught the Star Wars joke amid this Destiny 2 reveal? It's the second reveal for a destiny game. And it's the sequel. So... [spoiler]Reveal two, Destiny two R2-D2[/spoiler]

Platforming and hazardous moving obstacles while fighting. I think they were drills coming down on you in intervals while going through a path while trying to fight. The person who reviewed that part simply stated "I dont want to talk about it". As in it sucked badly. Also, from what I have read about the new Dawnblade subclass. I am also not liking it on paper. There are too many perks revolving around being in the air from jumping. Now if you can stay in the air like actual flying then it may not be so bad. But if its just air time from jumping and like now....not fun imo. But Ill wait and see how the reviews and write ups go after D2 comes out. Ill decide to get it after a few weeks.

1 ReplyI'm the only one that loved the RNGesus on vanilla destiny? Thoose exotic quest are too much trouble for a piece of useless equipment, except razeligher, voidfang and gjally, any other exotic quest feels like a chore... The spindle quest was great too.
